It was revealed today that we’re getting a BRAND NEW Batman Arkham Game coming soon called Batman: Arkham Shadow… exclusive to the Meta Quest 3. Here are my thoughts and reaction to the news and trailer.

Absolutely happy. I love vr I play it every day. Can't wait to play this game 🎉🎉🎉🎉. Vr is better then flat screen.
I grew up playing the Arkham games and i was obsessed with them. When Arkham VR came out on the ps4 and I thought it was great. Super short, but it looked and felt great to play. Mind you, that was the most recent Arkham game. But there is absolutely no way from a business standpoint that this new VR game will generate anywhere near close to the amount of revenue that a “flat” Arkham game would generate. Not to mention it’s probably booty (apologies for the rant)
The game hasn’t came out.
How are you going to know if it’s bad.
No one owns the game.
They could've avoided a metric fuck ton of backlash if they simply didn't use the word Arkham in the title.
This was made specifically for investors and to test the tech of VR.
The unfortunate part is that Arkham Shadow was chosen which directly conflicts with average consumers.
Even worse with SSKTJL
And even worse worse, the next Batman has already been identified without Kevin Conroy and not public disclosure has been given on it.
Facebook/Meta has almost absolute given Warner Bros a huge pot of money to make a game and this ended up being it.
Consumers are being completely disrespected because investors and big tech are funding these companies.
Doesn’t surprise me after they said they’re doubling down on SSKTJL type games and now we get this.
They don’t need our money, they’re already funded. So our opinions don’t matter.

I’m curious, why do so many flat gamers hate VR? Many of them have never even played a good VR game before or VR at all. The people in the VR community have a burning passion for VR and something like this is absolutely huge to us, and it’s really upsetting to see so many people hating on it when it’s being developed by a VR studio. A great studio by the way, it’s one of Metas First Party Studios. No hate or anything, we are used to it but I’d be lying if I said I understand it. Just curious.
It's not being made by rocksteady so i ain't even mad. Even if it was being made by rocksteady i thing their parent companies would try to make it a live service
Why the emphasis on rats, ratcatcher is canonically dead, from the backround stories of city, and knight
People are bitching way too much about this. As for the timeline placement, it makes no sense that this takes place after Knight considering that the suit looks like a hybrid of Origins and Ayslum and RatCATCHER is still kicking in Gotham. He's no where to be seen in Knight so its most likely a bridge between that time gap.
Thought this game was fake and now I wish it was.
