Pokemon TCG Pocket took the world by storm when it was released in October of 2024, with tens of millions of people downloading the game in the first month alone. Since then, a wealth of new content has been added to the popular mobile title, including a seemingly endless stream of new packs, promo cards, and events.
Although there are sometimes surprise additions, the Pokemon TCG Pocket schedule is fairly predictable when it comes to new cards and content. Each month, players can look forward to a special drop event, two new wonder pick cards, and, near the very end of the month, a new expansion or themed booster pack.
The following guide uses information provided by both dataminers and the game’s developers. Given the former, it may contain some mild spoilers.

- July 31 – August 1: Summer Event Missions
- July 31 – October 28: Elite Deck Missions 3
- August 3 – August 13: Ruler of the Skies Emblem Event
- August 9 – August 16: Bonus Week Missions
- August 12 – August 26: Ranked Match Season 16 (B4)
- August 12 – August 19: Mega Houndoom ex Drop Event
- August 14 – August 21: Deluxe Pack ex Returns
- August 16 – August 23: Pachirisu and Beldum Wonder Pick Event
August Will Be an Exciting Month for Pokemon TCG Pocket Players
August gets underway with a special set of Summer Event Missions, which will reward players with free packs and hourglasses. Players will also be able to get a free Elite Deck built around Mega Lucario ex thanks to the return of Elite Deck Gift Missions. Next comes the Ruler of the Skies Emblem Event and Ranked Match Season 16 (B4), with another set of Bonus Week Missions sandwiched in between. They’re followed by a Mega Houndoom ex Drop Event, a Pachirisu and Beldum Wonder Pick Event, and the temporary return of Deluxe Pack ex, which will be available for seven days between the 14th and the 21st of August.
