Pretty amazing animation, but honestly? This reminds me why I can't get into anime, save for a few. Random power-ups out of the wazoo because the dude gets angry or sad, people who smile instead of going into shock after being stabbed and losing 20L of blood, explosive stabs that knock people back instead of stabbing them (only to actually stab them the very next moment, because reasons), people crashing into walls and the walls getting destroyed, and most importantly: the out of place edge that becomes comical. This short story checks all the boxes dammit, Fischl's fanfiction would have been less clichΓ© than this.

The Genshin anime, if Iβm not mistaken, is taking so long because the studio that signed on to animate it, ufotable, handles only a few major projects at a time. So it most likely will not begin until after they have concluded their work with adapting Demon Slayer.
