Guild wars 1 is definitely the best game of 2026! It’s an older game that is getting some new content and even tho it’s old easily still one of the best rpgs ever!! It’s also coming to mobile June 24. Also will be f2p and has thousands of hours of content which some of it you can buy for very cheap

Time and time again these tops seem more like marketing/PR campaign rather than actually providing top X game list.
In my experience – played Reanimal…can't say anything really good about the game. Crazy artwork, totally dark and depressing aura while playing, clunky, unclear mechanics that force you to do one part of the path again and again and again basically battling rng rather than skill gap, otherwise quite repetitive and linear progression. Far from being best game of the year imo, still not sure how much motivation will I need to finish it as it kinda became a burden at this point.

007 would have been higher, but my experience w/ all the bugs prevented me from giving it 2nd place. I'm hoping Elliot, Beast of Reincarnation, and Star Fox (in the next 3 months) will be good!!!
Dragon Quest 7 reimagined is the only 2026 game I have played so far as I try to clean up my backlog! It was an excellent game! 🙂

I just played RE9 last weekend. it was fun, but definitely overrated and a rehash of past games, especially RE2, 3, and 7. And it is very short.
