8:49 quick disclaimer. It’s a roguelite, not a roguelike, though it’s not far off. The PRLS and permanent upgrades count as a system called meta progression, which is any system that allows for some kind of progression to be kept between runs. Meta progression changes a RIG (rogue inspired game, an umbrella term for roguelikes and roguelites so that those who struggle with the difference don’t have to make the distinction) from being focused on improving your own skills and towards trying to enhance your character. This difference causes any RIG with meta progression to be a roguelite, not a roguelike

I believe that the reef is a returning stage this season, but is intentionally being kept hidden bc of side order reasons
I REALLY hope its not just the one new map… If so, that'd suck, because it means we only get one new map next season to (to fill the final gap on the second page of the Recon screen, and to avoid having a third page with like, 1-2 maps)
The amount of content is still as lacking as ever, but I'm sure Twitter will reveal more, and at least the quality seems to be on par with the last few seasons too!
