The Arc of Tomorrow update introduces the Atomic Age, a new fourth Age spanning approximately the 1950s through the 2050s, featuring a reimagining of Civilization’s approach to nuclear strategy, with new offensive and defensive options and units, new buildings, new visuals, new music, new civilizations, new leaders, and more.
The first expansion, Earthrise, explores humanity’s relationship with space and the environment across the entire campaign, culminating in space agencies and missions throughout the solar system.
Civilization 7 is available now on PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). The Arc of Tomorrow update and the Earthrise expansion will be available in 2027.

Is this civ 7 beyond Earth
Hey devs, don’t forget, we want fun gameplay first.
Historical accuracy? That’s just a bonus.
And yeah, I’m biased, civ 5 still has the most fun gameplay.
I don’t mean this as an insult. I’m just frustrated that I’m having more fun with Civ 5 than Civ 7. I’m really hoping this major update is the one that finally lets me shelve Civ 5.
Should have been in the game from the beginning, and I also think the game just looks messy. Going through the different eras and too many notifications.
And is it just me or does this game feel like micro transactions focused?

I just want more customization options 😂 like changing the names of the civilizations or leaders in the game like we could back in Civ4 😂 what if I wanna Role Play Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings 🤔 we used to be able to even name natural wonders like massive grass plains or major rivers and mountains
Seems like this one fell a little short.. CIV 7 just didn’t hit the mark for me—it lost that classic ‘just one more turn’ magic.
Start from menus, make them modern and beautiful. Not boring and black…

Atomic age should have been in the game from the beginning. I was surprised when tech stopped in the modern age; I thought I accidentally clicked an option to stop the ages from advancing beyond the modern age. Nope, Civ 7 is just an incomplete game
