Disney was part of Unreal Fest Chicago and discussed how its partnership with Epic Games has already led to some incredible gaming experiences within Fortnite.
Disney’s Ray Gresko highlighted the power of putting Disney IP in the hands of talented game developers and how, within 72 hours of launch, 8 million players jumped into Star Wars Islands developed in Fortnite, including Droid Tycoon, Galactic Siege, and Escape Vader.
Alongside a sizzle reel of other Disney collaborations and news that The Simpsons is headed to UEFN IP Partner Program later this year, Future Trash Co-founder and CEO Kevin Marciano came on stage to talk about the childhood dream come true it was to build Droid Tycoon and how it’s been a huge success.
