Archetype Entertainment shared the Extended Gameplay Reveal of EXODUS to wrap up this year’s Summer Showcase. The deep dive was led by the game’s director, Chris King, and dug into the sci-fi RPG’s storytelling, choices, combat, companions and more. EXODUS is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X & S in Early 2027.

Looks beautiful and interesting, but enemy AI seems incredibly stupid. Please, make it smarter.

It reminds me a lot of Andromeda though – communicating with ancient alien tech, leaving your home planet and then trying to find a viable new one. Even the faces and art style remind me of it. I will still play it though.

This is one of my favorite games, I'm currently replaying all 3 Mass Effect with the Legendary edition, for the 3rd time too lol. Been like 10 yrs since I last played them. This one looks sick with all these skills.

Looks like Mass Effect, and the gameplay/gunplay looks great. However, the player character and companion character models and writing/voice acting really put me off. Main story sounds aggressively cliché too. Although I like the awakened. If I could have only awakened.

Can't wait for [generic sci fi] to release so I can re live 00's-10's glitchy wall humping rail shooter combat and have wooden dialog moral quandaries with the depth of a 9-yr old deciding if it's bad to steal another cookie from the cookie jar. 🙄

Wow, this is above and beyond any expectations I had. The quality of environments, animations (especially faces!), the combat flow are all amazing! And we are way overdue for a game where you get to make tough choices that have real consequences. Amazing job everyone at Archetype and WotC! 2027 cannot come soon enough! Btw, can you please release it on GOG too?

Was originally iffy about this game, but It's looking better and better each time I see it. Still a bit skeptical if it can really capture that magic that Mass Effect had, but we'll see.

Animations are great, but the visual style looks bland, generic. For example suits of the characters. There were several showed, but they all look like a default gray or brown without anything eye catching. Almost like AI generated. I think you guys need to work on that

Why does simply choosing a dialogue option have this extremely prominent sound feedback? More like a sound of upgrading a skill or a weapon. A bit too distracting for my taste
I admit that I was a bit skeptical at first when they revealed some first gameplay footage, but now I am truly convinced this is the Mass Effect spiritual successor I've been waiting for since 2012.
Love it definitely gonna buy it on PC. Matthew Mcconaughey nice.
Will there be a 4 players vs enemies mode like it was in Mass Effect 3 plss plss. Can u fix women faces and make them look more neutral ther jaws look kinda strange.
Don't get mad at me, but those people's faces are like clones! All the same and mostly unsympathetic. It's such a shame that these main characters were created like this. Otherwise it's great, but these characters and their faces kill the immersion. It's like the whole game had one father.
No matter how it looks. It is Andromeda 2. Or reboot. Also story seems like Andromeda too
Meh character designs look so generic, What happened to making Unique looking characters that make your game stand out. Just looks like the same art direction as Dragon age the veilguard, Starfield or the failed saints row reboot.
