Looks like a Hogwarts legacy
"Why did it fall?" – "Old things fall apart, that's all."
We got a real winner here…
Man for someone running they sure sound like they were sitting on a chair bored reading the script… lol
I love the fable franchise, played every game in the series, this dorsn’t give me the fable vibe, don’t know whats exactly off, sorry for the lack of constructive criticism, but it’s not what I was hoping for 🙁
where's the unique iconic look of Fable, looks generic, including the UI
This looks boring and unremarcable.
I love how a series with a distinct art style and tongue in cheek writing is now a generic looking and sounding RPG!
What is this, an spin off of the fail guard? Boring!!!!!!!
You spent 300 Million dollars on this, Playground Games.
What, you ran out of money for the combat?
Those cutscenes are no acceptable for a studio with microsoft resources, it should be smooth and integrated.
копия 3й части которая на мой взгляд ультра провальна была в такое дерьмо я не буду играть
Unfortunate that the cherry picked video has skewed so many perceptions on the combat in this game.
This looks so mind numbingly boring and devoid of any soul or levity in the art style. These devs should be ashamed. Seventeen minutes of a dude shooting an automatic crossbow.
fk the haters. They still need some evolving to do. They are still in the "throwing sht at what doesn't look exactly like them" phase.
Excited for the game. Can't wait.
Ok, so clearly you can make a Paladin build hero. I wonder if you can make a Rogue?
When a game is commissioned by execs instead of passion
Looks fun. I see a lot of commenters mad that the player is black. Same tired story from you guys.
That slow motion is going to get old really fast.
Enemy designs, atmosphere, and sound design is great.
Very disappointed to see a cooldown based magic system and recharging arrows (hopefully thats just this weapon and not all ranged weapons). Seems like you won't be able to be a pure archer, or pure mage at all. Where the hell is the mana bar? Hope there is something like basic equip-able spells that can be charged/channeled for greater effect and have no cooldown but use mana. To give some credit, the spells do look cool though.
Ranged attacks could use a bit more creativity as well. Bullet time? Arrow types? Charged shots? Something to mix up just mag dumping when arrows are recharged.
Melee combat needs more impact, more variety, more creativity. Weight of the attacks is missing, enemies not reacting very well. Missed opportunity for a ground slam when he jumped from the ledge to the downed enemy. Not a fan of those slow motion counterattacks with the same animation every time, that will get old very fast. Its just basic combo after basic combo. I did see a charged attack to mix it up but thats about it. Could have things like grapple attacks, weapon throws, kicks, perfect parries, flourishes (like in previous fables), or even a ground pound with that massive hammer.
LOL, modern UK downtown for casting. Totally immersion breaking. Let's do a game set in medieval nigeria with a bunch of white and asian tribesman
next.
I am looking forward to playing this, so far I think the devs have worked really hard on this project and tried to keep fable’s core but give the fans a new story and world to explore at the same time. We appreciate you Playground games!!
It looks mid and there's a serious oversaturation of medieval fantasy already. All ts looks the same now
This looks like an ok game, but it isn't Fable. It's lacking all the charm and whimsy of the originals.
Killing ghosts with a hammer…
🥱
I actually like it. I'm lookin forward to this one.
Combat deff needs some work. When you strike a skeleton with a warhammer, they should react or have a bit morr pizzazz to the hit
A Black Knight… sure…
For reference check out "Black Knight(2001) with Martin Lawrence"
3 move set, terrible running/walking animation, impact-less combat, even the spells look bad. cant wait for this game to fail…
This looks horrible
I can't tell if this is Rookridge or Wraithmarch. (Or Oakvale if you're a series veteran)
Combat could use some more flow, more animation and extra spice.
