I think we're gonna get a VII-2 once the Remake Trilogy is completed.

If they make more installments for the FF7 world, I would be interested in a prequel. The current FF7 world seems to be a post-fantasy world. What if they went back 100 years or so. The Cetra may have been considered as mages in the pre-Shinra world. And summons may have been alive back then instead of memories of the Cetra. Maybe even show how the Junon Republic came to be.
I hope knights of the Round Materia has its own big area. And I hope the summon itself will be awesome

The news is about nothing. This is a big name, but no interesting information. The developers are just laughing at the crap they themselves did at the end of the revival and at the feelings of the fans.

We need DLC. Wutai DLC! One or two massive zones, with the story of the war or even just the current vibe in wutai. Idk i think it would really help sales and give us who are done with story to do stuff! Part 3 needs to have less mini-games add more endgame content and they need to actually listen to the full criticisms by getting an AI bot and some people to scour the internet and see what people are raving about and ranting about

Some VO actor accidently leaked they were already doing VO for part 3 and part 2 simultaneously which means they would have to have some of the animations complete for P3 if they were already doing VO and that was like 2 years ago. Devs will always buffer the amount time they need. Honestly I think they're in the polishing phase and wrapping up the last bits for P3 so I would we should see a release in 2 years 3 max
I have a feeling the crack in the sky means they plan to bring back every character and I do mean every character for one final showdown with Sephiroth in Part 3. Of course, only time will tell.

So the way the devs talked about the ending definitely indicates that something is up with it, and we'll find out the answer to that in part three.

My personal belief is that Aerith and Zack are alive in worlds that are ending (likely due to the Black Materia being used but the White Materia not being used in those worlds). I actually think that Sephiroth has worked out that every other world ends, because every other world fails to have the specific set of circumstances needed to stop Meteor. And I believe that is why Sephiroth wants the "Reunion of worlds". Because if he can reunite all of the worlds with the Remake one, all of the ending worlds will overwhelm the one surviving one, and he will finally succeed. And by giving Cloud what he wanted (saving Aerith) but ensuring it would be at the cost of her being in one of those dying worlds, he further deepened his hold over Cloud, and even gave him the Black Materia, presumably with the expectation of getting Cloud himself to attempt the Reunion of worlds, once he realizes what really happened. Which – if that does end up being the case – would be far, far more cruel than the original game, in my opinion. Because then it would be Cloud having to choose between letting Sephiroth win, and destroying the world, or leaving the Aerith that he had fought against fate to save to die in a doomed world.
Just finished the game. What an amazing experience. I said several times while playing that this is a really good game. I love the way they incorporated mini games into the story so you at least give them all a try. The additions to the story were refreshing and well done. This felt like a FF game unlike that Devil May cry one lol. My only complaint, “spoiler warning” that the iconic events where Sephiroth stabs Aerith and pulls the sword out and when Cloud places her in the water and she slowly sinks are gone. Those were some of the most powerful moments in the original game and they just took them out. I would argue Aerith’s death scene was one of the most iconic moments in video game history and how they choose to do it was just bad IMO. Other than that, the game is a masterpiece.

After part 3 I hope they remake other fan favourites such as 6 and 9 before milking 7 even further.

I saw a video somewhere that explained that you can tell the different timelines/worlds apart by how Stamp appears. There's like 4 different versions of him ranging from different types of hats to different dog breeds, which representing a different universe/timeline. Pretty interesting.
I want to see sapphire, ultima, emerald, ruby & omega weapons. I wanna see more weapons.

I like to overly simplify things. So here goes:
The OG Biggs is in the Non-Dead Zack timeline. This story line exists to prove that that’s possible. Biggs has no other reason for existing and accomplishes nothing beyond that. He’s literally there to show you it’s possible.
This means a non-OG timeline character can do the reverse. This was sort of proven when Cloud and Zack meet but that was also an acid trip of a fight.
I don’t care if Cloud is somehow living in more than one head space. It’s convoluted and purposely muddled to prolong interest and string the player along. I can tell you how this ends…
Cloud learns the truth of his past. Comes to terms with his reality. Other dumb, Kingdom Heart Shit happens and timelines get all messy. Multiple Clouds from multiple timelines come together to Octa Slash Seohiroth for the win…Zack and Aerith will be together in a timeline somewhere living a happy life.

I thought when talking about rebirth during its development that they were working on part 3 in parallel. Hopefully that will mean it will be sooner than that.
I am waiting until PC release. The performance on my 4k screen is HORRENDOUS on either of their performance (muddy/smeared) modes lol. Absolutely terrible programming considering the graphics are nothing to write home about at all. Cant refund since its PS Store woohoo waste of money! I literally get queasy after about 30 minutes playing this game at its VERY sluggish 30 fps and the performance mode scales the games down to 720p…..LOL wowza their programmers are not doing good work here.

As with many people, literally all I really want for part 3 is for Aerith to actually come back to life, like in the flesh, not as some sort of Force Ghost-like apparition or anything like that. I’d really hoped and honestly thought it would go differently this time given the whole “changing fate” theme they’ve had going. Having actually finished Rebirth, though, I know it probably won’t go down that way and that we’ll get some sort of more bittersweet ending for her (honestly probably the lifestream Force Ghost), but I really hope they don’t do that. I just want an actually truly happy ending for her and the gang. Too many bittersweet, if not full-on depressing, endings for shit, nowadays. I need part 3 to be a salve.
I'll stick to OG FF7. No ridiculous metaverse silliness. Let Cid have his cig.

Sephirot is a manifestation of his true self so it is Aerith. Aerith exists across reality and its amalgamation in the Lifestream. Some Aerith versions are aware and share the common knowledge while some aren't. That's repressented with the white vs transparent materia.
