The graphics are awful on performance mode and yet the performance (framerate) is awful on graphics mode.
As usual all of the shills are out in force and doing nothing but praising the game for their Sony overlords.

Wait for PC
Very weird that the 10+ reviews that I listened to explained that there was so much stuff to do in the world that they got caught up in them and forgot about the main story. And then explain there was still stuff they needed to do 80+ hours into it.

This is what I wish XVI would have been. I didn’t like anything about that game. Even though I’m more a turn based fan, I feel like these VII remakes strike the balance between turn based and action perfectly.
I get the sound isnt that good, but they spent a large amount of their budget on putting 11 sports bras on tifa.

Why does the colors and brightness in your footage look so weird?
This game is so much better than the first which felt similar to ground zeroes, a demo for the real game. My only gripe is the performance is very poor. I dont think the ps5 is capable enought tbh. Shame its not on pc or xbox.

Seems the consensus is that it's better than the first game. Which is good. Personally, I enjoyed FFXVI way more than the first FF7 Remake game.
So I'm looking forward to this, but I think I'm more excited about the FFXVI expansion.

Performance mode image quality literally look like a switch game.
FF7 remakes 60fps mode had way better image quality.

I heard there were some story alterations, that might cause controversy. I did not like the multiverse, kingdom hearts crap at the end of remake, so if they keep going along that path then this and the third installment are a pass for me.

ACG gives very honest reviews in a fun way. A few reviewers act as if it's a sacrilege to say anything negative about FFVII Rebirth. So it's nice to see this review. But for me, this game is like a classic car. No it's not as comfortable as a newer car. They're noisy. No way to play digital music and the speakers aren't great. But who cares? his game for me is like a classic car. I remember playing this game with my daughter. This game has me very excited to play.

I would appreciate if the video title told what platform the review is done on, so I can skip all the PS5 stuff. If you're talking about the story and gameplay, sure it's pretty much the same across the platforms, but the technical side can be completely different. Especially important here, considering the previous game was technically very lacking on PC. And once again, SHAME on squeenix for not publishing on all the platforms at the same time, I guess I will wait for deep discount on PC in any case because I will not reward the companies for their bad behavior.
Thank God, not a fanboy review at last. I need a real review not some middle aged adult gushing over a game he played 25 years ago. Also, can't trust reviewers that ignore the visual problems of the game. Good job, mate, you climbed my "Trusted reviewers" list immensely, I'll be watching more of you in the future.

This was one of the best reviews I've watched in a long time. Positive, but not gushing praise, critical, but measured criticism. It felt like a really fair representation of your time with the game. Well done! I subbed.
It's too bad that graphically it's not as clean/polished as FF16 or FF7R,
But at the same time it's massively more ambitious in terms of world size & graphics too.
Still at times it's a little jarring, like for ex when Cloud/Sephiroth do their synergy.
Maybe they'll release an intergrade version at some point.
