Square Enix has put together a new full-game package for one of its previous mobile games, as Final Fantasy Resonance adapts part of the past mobile title Brave Exvius. Though Resonance is teeming with Final Fantasy references, characters, and quirks, this tale weaves something both old and new for RPG fans to enjoy. How adorable is this game?
So to save themselves money, they use very little voice acting, and cheap animations and everyone’s excited about this. Gaming is doomed. The only thing wrong with the last Final Fantasy was the things they did to save money like not enough enemy variety.

As long as you keep praising these great looking, but very poorly written, hollow games, they'll continue making them.

For me this is the first true Final Fantasy by Square Enix in years.
I pre-ordered this but didn't pre-order Revelation.
I am a bit disappointed with how short this game is…. Because it means it will likely only contain Chapter 1 of ffbe. Hopefully they will keep making more.
Of course you summon Cloud, because Cloud is the only FF character.

I want this kind of traditional turn-based FF so badly, but I want nothing to do with just part of a larger story, and the gimmicks that stem from the mobile version.
Loved the demo. Preordered it right away. Can't wait to get the full game!
I was considering buying it but just saw that it costs 59€ why? i thought 39€ at the most for a game that reuses assets, engine and even combat engine. isn't it just connect the ressources and then polish it? how does this effort justify a 59€ price tag? Also why are there the switch 1 and switch 2 versions both at the exact same pricetag? how does that make ANY sense?

FF mainline isnt figuring itself it been shit for 20 years. A mobile game isnt going to change it. Played demo decent game 7 outta 10. Your review gotta be paid for…characters build from 4 6 7 8 9 10 doubtful.
I love the fact that the protagonists are so bland and generic anime that they had to use past final fantasy characters to sell it. However the game looks alright just sad they keep trying to retread the dying mobile market style

It's truly very appreciated that they are porting all these games, I'll definitely be playing this once I finish a bunch of demos that I have planned to play during steam next fest. Currently playing through The Dark West demo and it's awesome, loving it. So after I finish that I'll buy Resonance and enjoy my time with it!
They should rescue First Soldier as well, while they are at it!
Can you turn off the Vision CGI?
Im hoping we get a HD/2D of Record Keeper cuz that game was a joy to play. Also hoping for the same for Dissidia Oper Omnia and more delisted FF mobile games. I feel like they can get more money by doing this.
I just can't get past the messy visuals. 2D sprites over 3D backgrounds, and CGI cutscenes. I love FF but this is not for me.

I hated the dialogue writing and voice acting in the demo so I don't think I can handle 40 hours of tripe.
Besides Onimusha, Fire Emblem & Zelda, if there's one game I'm more excited to play than GTA6 its definitely Final Fantasy Resonance given that FF is my #1 favorite video game franchise of all-time! Its so great to see Turn-Based Combat featured in an FF game again and hopefully FF17 will do the same🤞🤞
