First on the list of improvements Turn 10 should focus on is revamping the new RPG-inspired upgrade system that turns progression into an unnecessarily long road ahead of each individual car, and maybe bringing back the joys of split-screen multiplayer racing to complement the excellent online modes.”

Graphics look awful
I'm personally one of the few that prefer the new level up system. It actually encourages you to play with the car and level it up rather than buying your way to the best parts like we've been used to. Instant access to the best things in the game is hardly common in the gaming world, why should this be any difference. Personally, I'd say you should be able to adjust a handful of things but everyone's car's should be about the same so it forces you to drive better. Nothing feels worse than being the better player, but getting loss after loss because someone spent $20 on credits to get better parts.
Game is garbage, stop giving bad racing games a free pass. Horizon 5 being a 10/10 GOTY was a joke too, so was GT7 receiving no criticism for its terrible economy and non-existant progression and lack of event variety.
Every racing game IGN reviewed in the last 3 years is at least 2 points too high, this entire genre is in a bad state right now.

A game centric channel cheaping-out and using 1080p – not great when trying showcase games – and it cheap considering you sub count. 4k is the 1080p of 2006 ffs!
And you can be serious about the handling. It is terrible. Never saw so much understeer. Any car feels like that even with street tires.
Same wheels. Same everything about customization. No ability to change exhaust. What car game doesn’t have and option for exhaust??

Anyone know if they improved the car sounds? In 7, all the engines with like cylinder counts sounded the same and underwhelming.

This game is missing so many features from the 6 year old Forza Motorsport 6, no drift lobbies or even an offline mode for drifting and the graphics look like crap, there are these super low resolution reflections on the cars that look worse than Motorsport 7

Is the color grading of the video off or the game looks washed out of colors?
GT7 feels like a simulator while Forza feels like a simulator of a simulator.

This game is at least 9/10.
My only gripe with this game is the car level system. What is the point in levelling up a car all the way to 50 then seeing all you can upgrade is the tyre width and a restricter plate. Utterly pointless..
