I Have over 2000 hours in the game and I have not played in months due to cheaters it's sad because Arc Raiders was an outlet for my depression and anxiety but the cheating got so bad I found myself back in anxiety so I stopped playing and will not return until its fixed i mean there are bigger free pve/pvp games that have an almost unheard of cheating problem so it's even available open source information to integrate into your game with your own modifications we love the new stuff but we won't have time to use it before being head shot from behind a wall 100 meters away I'll keep hope but until fixed it's a great memory in my heart. R

Players should have the option to choose between PvE and PvP. Everyone has their own preferred playstyle, and neither should be forced on players or unnecessarily mixed together. A game with this much potential should give players the freedom to enjoy the experience the way they prefer.

We need a PvP damage rebalance. Getting melted by a bobcat in a second while wearing a heavy shield is not normal (this is from personal experience, having looked up the stats I realise it may have been a cheater who landed all headshots). TTK that is close to or even less than in, say, Apex Legends, with way less opportunities of resetting and outhealing the damage is quite frankly has set up the game to burn out from the start. It incentivises ambushes, cheapshots and opportunism, which are fine on their own, but the way DMG and HP are balanced, makes all that the most viable strategy.
My last two raids before uninstalling the game last months were ended by four separate teamers (in solo lobbies) who were actively hunting raiders in the lobby. I'm a rescue raider myself, with 400h+ topside, ~70 knockouts and ~170 stranger revives, it's safe to say I wasn't playing this game as a murdering psycho, not even for a little bit. I was never discouraged from the game by getting killed during a raid, but these last two raids were a signal to me that friends can reliably join the same match together and wreak havoc on unsuspecting solo raiders. It's one thing where you have to meet someone topside for the first time and recruit them to go around and hunt raiders, but what I witnessed was a straight up basic exploit still active 10 months into the game's lifespan.
If they bring back PvE-only, I may reinstall it and run around a little bit, but I know it's not going to be the same level of tension.
They fumbled on staying ahead of the cheats and exploits. Balance too.
They should make photos also stored on the camera until the end of the match, so when others find your body with your camera they can see your pictures, imagine finding someones camera and seeing pictures of the thing that got em on some horror movie stuff

Please when you launch the game instead of starting in the menu, have us start in the firing range or outpost that you showed. Make that the lobby so when you invite a friend to lobby they join you and you can walk around and go to your workbenches and craft/salvage like usual, or even test your guns together. less menus is better IMO
This all looks amazing, but when will we be hearing from a “Director of Anti-cheat”. As a player that left and wants to come back to the game, thats the only person I want to be hearing from.
No mention of PVE only mode fed up of all the cheaters haven't played for months and i won't be reinstalling anytime soon.

Let's be honest, the real update is on the 13th
played a ton after release, love the chill PvE run, the PvP was also awesome, but i dropped the game fully a few months ago, this look like a very good update but nothing to motivate me enough to come back to the game normally, except, we are getting a full PvE toggle for a week and THAT will get me back to play topside, being able to decide when i want to go in for a fight and when i just want to relax and meet people without having to be ready to shoot them down any moment, this is a big incentive to me and i'm sure many others to actually come back topside and play again. Also looks like a lot of these features are far more PvE or PvPvE focused.
The PvP crowd that plagued the game upon release clearly demonstrated that a true PvPvE was impossible, the devs themselves admitted to it, the PvE toggle is definitely a good move, despite it being just a short time test, i have no doubts the numbers will show that such a feature was heavily awaited. Let the fighters play with fighters, the chill players with the chills and let the rat starve <3
Add the QSSR feature to the game to Ps5 and mouse And keybord

They should make it that if you initiate PVP you get kicked out of speranza and lose it's privileges but you get to go to the new base instead. No separate modes. Just choose your path. No outpost for PVE players. No speranza for Pvp players. They can use the ABMM tech to decide if you get kicked from speranza
Gotta say since getting back into Arc Raiders. Literally haven't been ratted ONCE surprisingly. Everyone is so chill again like when i first got on. But im going to say this as well, i take back anything i said about this coming update, its looking solid as fuck in my opinion. As long as every update is like this, the spaced out updates can be easier to deal with.

Yeah cat cafe and photo mode is exactly what this carcass of a game needed. Not PvE modes or more stringent anti-cheating rules and software. A fuckin cat cafe. This game, studio and dev team is so insanely out of touch with what the gaming community actually wants, what a joke and what a waste of money this was.
