Of course, online discourse already criticized it as “weak,” despite it being a launch trailer (and more than likely used for TV spots, given the prominence of PS5 advertising at the start and end), it still offered a wealth of new details.

The swamp sequence at 3:10 leaves a good timeline question: a flashback would explain Jason’s background, while a present-day mission would show those connections still matter. Matching his gear and companions across the shots seems more useful than assuming every action scene happens in trailer order.

The two leads will be placed in a classic prisoners dilemma. The character you control at the point of no return is who you get to make the decision for. The other will decide based on the ratio between their relationship and the criminal profile of the other. Basically deciding if they trust the other to work together or not.

I have played GTA since 1 (a total different game) as well as damn near every Rockstar game I watched their entire "story" and I also saw them say screw us single players aka those who built their empire with stacks of money as well as cave in to the modern audience jumping the shark card as I call it. …so there are many reasons to be concerned for this game. What is going on with GTA6:
1. GTA6 has no disc. In reality, you can't own the game yourself. Pre-orders are meaningless.
2. The base game is called the "premium edition," for no other reason than to charge an extra 20€. (99.99€)
3. The collectors box has a price hike of 300% over that of RDR2 (99.99€ to 399.99€).
Personal opinion and conclusion:
The release of GTA6 is a massive IQ test for gamers. They get nothing of value while spending a lot more money.
