got my collector edition preorder in, hope it sells so well that we get something like gundam unicorn again which fromsoftware made. more gundam games the better. still play sd gundam too.
I've never been really creative… but my favorite gundam is musha… so will definitely build him like I did in breaker 3… gonna try to get creative this time around tho
so this is a direct follow up to 3, battlogue, and mobile…I've watched a let's play on GB3, watched ALL of battlogue, and have never touched mobile…but…I am interested in this game.
that aside, I wonder what our starter gunpla is gonna be this time? is it gonna be a straight build? a custom? maybe a hob-poj build? I am curious…
as for my custom I plan on making a gundam I have named the "Starlight Waltz", having it be, at the start at least a combonation of all of my favorite suits from "The Witch from Mercury" which just happen to be the Lfrith, Aerial, Aerial rebuild, and even the Calibarn for the short moment we had with it…so mostly Suletta's suits. As the game progresses I'll enjoy seeing how it changes and slowly turns into my ultimate fighter….still need to figure out a name for it's upgrade though.
The charge reminds me of the ultimate technique from Ninja Gaiden.

I'm on the fence because I was a major fan of 2 and 3 as well as the mobile game, and New was atrocious so I'm wary of 4
as a new gundam fan, i don't know much to join the hype but i'm kind of scared of the game stealth dropping this year. everytime that happens it's worrysome
GB4 is great but where's Gihrens Greed?
I replayed a bit of GB2 and discovered something interesting: The last bit of the GB4 trailer where it's in grayscale, it shows a cutscene featuring Exia and Wing. Those shots are directly taken from the first mission of GB2.
Also, the Switch reveal trailer has "over 300 suits" in the description as opposed to the usual 250, though that might be an error.
The thing I want to see the most, based on everything that's already been announced is, I want this game to have a MASSIVE number of playable missions in the campaign. I was very underwhelmed by the number of missions in Gundam Breaker 3 compared to past titles. I also want to see more variety of play modes added and the return of the Bounty system. I just can't wait for more info as I'm already starving for this game. I hope the Steam version won't be a buggy mess at launch like NewGB was. Thank you NewtypeSeiji for covering this!

thank you fromsoft for producing ac6, making every other company think that "hmmmm….. maybe a mecha game would be lit". there is also going to be mecha break, oblivion override, that one indie game in the format of custom robo arena etc.
That last one was pretty lackluster.
Can't wait. I imported Gundam Breaker 3 and had a blast with it, and I did enjoy Breaker Mobile even if I never could pull the parts I wanted.

Potential misgivings I have:
1: from interviews I’m slightly worried that they’re pushing the dual wielding too hard and that you’ll be gimping yourself if you don’t use it
2: screenshots kind of make it look like you’ll only have 4 option weapon slots rather than the 8 GB3 let you have
All told however those are only mild worries. It’s clearly nothing like New Gundam Breaker, which gave me the worst buyer’s remorse of pretty much anything I’ve ever spent money on, and the overall speed and feel of the gameplay looks much more like Gundam Breaker 3, which IMO is the best mech game either customisation outside of the Armored Core series. Looking forward eagerly to the full release and in the short term I’m interested to see what footage comes out of the upcoming network test.
I really hope the aesthetic weapons we equip can actually be used like in gb3
The only let down for me a little bit is that you can't make your own backpack for example: gn drive backpack with freedom wings without using builder's parts.
My hype for it is up, but I am definitely not going to pre order it, just remember the 2 gundam game they released in the past, the “gundam break” and the other SD gundam game, those 2 are trash though.
You forgot to mention, as it was my bigger concern and started advancing the trailer video frame by frame:
– Part stats seems like a mix of rarity + level, in the trailer we see a Gouf Arm, Rarity 3*, and a Kampfer Arm, Rarity 1*, Kampfer Arm has sightly lower stats than Gouf's since the rarity is lower. Do not fear yet, as rarity also shows an exp bar under it, meaning that it'll be possible to level it. My guess is that commonly you'll get materials to level up exp, while rarity could be a different material OR mixing more of the same part, which could mean that kampfers appear more massively in the game, and then it would require more effort to level up. I don't remember Breaker 3, but if anyone mind confirming what the system was, as far as I remember, it was level only.
I mention this because in NGB arms were literally better than others, so you couldn't "build what you want", as opossed to Breaker 3, where I had a Samurai-ish Zaku II that turned golden without using any G Gundam parts.
On the non mentioned part, since we cannot literally know it, I hope that special level ups are a thing again. For those that played Breaker 3 enough, you might remember that if you leveled a Special enough times, you'll unlock it for all suits no matter the parts. This was cool as fuck as you could, as I've mentioned before, use G Gundam Super Mode in a default 0079 Zaku. You could also stack it as far as I remember with Trans Am and whatever the green unicorn mode was called (If that last one was an special mode, as I cant remember tbh)
Re-used assets??
i never thought GB4 would ever come out i can't wait to try this game i know i would love to upgrade my boy from 3 i just hope that we are allowed to record this time because i would like to do a few build streams if not videos.

If it includes anything from SEED Eclipse then im a happy man, my partner the 00 Fereshte needs its arms as the base
I might decide to try Aerial or 00 with Zeta Gundam parts and, if possible, Pharact's Sniper rifle or the Ur's array cannon.
They gave us what we asked for… hopefully the world won't end before it releases LOL
but there are so many kits that were released since GB3 that i want to see in this game, hopefully we'll get them! especially all the core Gundam planets to recreate that scene that he is all mismatched
Is the whole game Co-op like Breaker 3? Or do you only get side missions in Co-op? I'm not buying it if the entire game isn't Co-op.

i'm hoping for so much. i'm looking forward to the Gundam Build Fighters stuff that will be awesome!!! I'm going to make my gunpla with shield bits for days and rifle bits also have trans am for maximum speed attack for the bits. i wish they would allow for us to use the bits to help shield allies. i cant wait to play with friends since that was hard in gundam breaker 3

Oh I’m so ready for this. I hope it’s got the GBM feature of having a “Skin” to put on top of a stats build so you can look good and have good stats. I also hope it runs well on switch as that’s what I’m going to play on. So glad it’s got a physical cartridge, I hate having to download it.
I also hope we get a lot of IBO parts from Urdur Hunt, and I need me a Shwalbe Graze. Also also I hope we get some of the custom parts from GBM like the Barbataurus (I want its legs)
