It's awesome because it copies something that was already awesome. Starship Troopers. The ST chronicles series dropped the roughnecks down in a similar way.

Pro tip: on controller hold Square to switch fire modes on weapons. The Machine gun support stratagem has an increased fire rate, and it is the difference between life and death lol
