Love how Hoyo incorporated Castorice's lore into Gilgamesh – as he has traveled through hell and back multiple times in his lore.
In Fate/Grand Order, Ishtar is a Pseudo-Servant who uses Rin Tohsaka as a compatible human vessel. Rather than one personality completely overriding the other, they are fused. Rin's personality acts as a vital "moral limiter", actively blocking and tempering Ishtar's more ruthless, amoral godly impulses to make her sympathetic toward humans. In Fate/strange Fake, Ishtar descends as a "divine remnant" or "broken goddess data". Acting as a self-programmed revenge curse, she awakens because her ancient rivals, Gilgamesh and Enkidu, reincarnate in the same era. Because gods cannot materialize in the modern world, she possesses an empty Einzbern homunculus named Fillia. In ancient Uruk, after Gilgamesh rejected her and Enkidu threw the severed entrails of the Bull of Heaven at her, Ishtar left behind a lingering curse. She swore that if those two ever met again on Earth, her consciousness would reactivate to seek vengeance. Unlike her Fate/Grand Order counterpart (who is tempered by her Rin Tohsaka host), the Ishtar in Strange Fake possesses an empty, hollow vessel. This allows her to operate with her true, 100% unfiltered and arrogant divine personality.
For the voices, you can do what I did for the first quest.
And that is, since they let you change the language mid conversation, I would play in English, then whenever one of the collab characters would have a voice line, I would switch it to Japanese, hear the line and then once it was over, I switched it back to English for the other character's reply.
It's kind of a pain, but it works.

It is funny that Rin once again summoned Saber's master as her servant.
I love how Lancer was the only one to get hit by Gilgamesh's attack at the start after Rin and Stelle first meet the other characters. That might be the reason he is the last one standing at the end.

2:25 I doubt Astolfo would be in the game considering how much flak HoYo gets for barely feminine male characters like Venti and Dahlia whom at least could be excused as being 'boyish' whereas a tall one, yeah no, they'd probably have to give him a masculine redesign to at best Aventurine level flamboyancy.

Haha I get that it's disappointing that Saber and Archer aren't voiced but ngl it's not a big deal. Most of the first collab story is not voices because of a silent movie nod/gimmick/joke.
Now idk about how this next collab is gonna be handled or whether they will find another way to not have them voiced who knows. I wish they did just have jp voices for them in English tho but it's not a deal breaker for me.
I kinda feel bad for non fate star rail enjoyers because fate has become an actual part of the main story now and is not just a one off, non canon event. Meaning, it'll just keep going over all the non fate players' heads and will eventually get really annoying for them. Unless you lock in and start watching all of fate now and play all the games. Like I'm trying to do.
in FGO Ishtar isn't full pledge servant like Saber and others, She was manifest by possessing human as their vessels it just happen that human she posses literally is Tohsaka Rin. So its not surprise at all if Ishtar appear where Rin is. Also you can see the very little difference in between Ishtar and Rin. Ishtar had crown on her leg where Rin don't also their eye color too
Rin Tohsaka becomes the vessel for the Sumerian goddess Ishtar because she is a highly compatible pseudo-Servant. Divine spirits are too powerful to manifest fully on their own, so they merge with a living human whose traits align with their own.

FYI Lancer survived that attack because he has a skill called "Battle Continuation." This is in reference to his myth about tying himself to a tree as he's bleeding out so he can continue fighting on his feet. He was so resilient that his foes were afraid to get close to him and only did so when a raven landed on his shoulder, showing he's already dead.

From what I know, full on divine beings can't be summoned in a Holy Grail War and need hosts to enter the cost of their not having their full power.
Rin actually has two goddesses borrowing her body in Grand Order: Ishtar (the one you see red eyes) and Ereshgikal (blonde Rin with red eyes).
But in Strange Fake, Ishtar uses Filia, a homunculus and has that "on-sight" with Gilgamesh and Enkidu especially when she made a "curse" (that's what I hear but I could be wrong) that ensures she will manifest if the two ever reunited.
A lot of references to fate.
The whole NP sequence done by Rin is pretty much a reference to Space Ishtar/Ishtar Ashtart. (the girl on my pic)
A version of her that comes from a Fate event called Saber Wars 2.
She's pretty much a living universe/galaxy there and one of the top tiers in fate.
The big Ishtar could also be seen as a reference to Bel Maanna (Giant rin face).
The bow Rin uses is Ishtars bow, Maanna.
The boat of heaven, and the NP she ends up using at the end is Ishtars NP where she transforms Venus into a bullet to shoot. (with added help from Space Ishtar apparently.)
The sword Ishtarin used to stab Gil is called the Zelretch Sword, a weapon used by Zelretch (a magician), alongside Second Magic to defeat the Crimson Moon/Type Moon.
This sword is the result of a blueprint given by Zelretch to the Tohsaka family and it seems Rin successfully created it here too.
Gil coming out of the Netherrealm is a reference to Babylonia and his journey, he went to the underworld and with the help of Ereshkigal (another Rin face) the goddess of the underworld, he comes back to life.

Rin is one of the three main heroines for Fate/Stay Night. Rin is a human mage, one of the seven Masters of the Holy Grail War. Saber is the heroine for the Fate route. Rin is the heroine for the Unlimited Blade Works route. Sakura Matou is the heroine for the Heaven's Feel Route. Each route has an anime adaption in the form of a TV series and/or film(s). Not to mention there are other anime adaptions for Fate/Zero, Fate/Prototype, Fate/Strange Fake, Fate/Apocrypha, Fate/Grand Order, Fate/EXTRA, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya, etc.
Ishtar is the goddess of beauty, good harvests, lust, discord and fertility, that just so happens to inhabit the body of Rin when she made her appearance in the mobile gacha game Fate/Grand Order. She has been mentioned in the PSP game Fate/EXTRA CCC. Also mentioned in Fate/Prototype and Fate/Apocrypha. Ishtar in Fate/Strange Fake possesses a different body, a homoculus named Philia. Servants are supposed to be heroic spirits of legends. In Ishtar's case, she a psuedo-Servant, that just possesses the body she is in, so she can manifest her powers.
Also to explain the co-op attacks between Rin and Archer, as well as Gilgamesh and Saber. Rin and Archer were a Master-Servant pair in Fate/Stay Night, they work well together. Gilgamesh and Saber were enemies, with Gilgamesh trying to claim Saber as his own with Saber refusing.
1:35 Ishtar isn’t “some girl” she is Gilgamesh’s mythological nemesis and wife that never was. The goddess of love and war in ancient Mesopotamia and Uruk’s patron goddess.
FYI Ishtar is a Pseudo-Servant meaning they cannot manifest in their form. That's why they always possess Rin to live through. That's why she looks like Rin because it is a possessed Rin.
I mean if there is Phainon in the event so why not with Castorice? 😅

So the deal with rin and Ishtar is that in fgo (fate/grand order) Ishtar can be summoned as a servant however because most gods can’t be summoned normally she needs a compatible host. Rin happens to be that so that is why Ishtar looks like rin. Also something to note is that you can tell which one is in control based on eye color. Rin is blue, Ishtar is red.

We see not one but two Ishtar, the one from the regular timeline in FGO and the one from another universe known as the Servantverse and she’s Space Ishtar xd we see her when Rin/Ishtar taps into the grail and connects to the Servantverse

The Gilgamesh dying bit is iconic to his character. In his myth he usually finds himself dying or at least, travelling through the underworld, so him coming out of Castorice Netherworld is really really funny.
As for Rin's situation, its a little bit weird considering the circumstance of her character but to put it simply, Ishtar is the Goddess (She is the Goddess of Heaven in Mesopotamian Mythology and is prevelant in many of the myths which also include Gilgamesh himself, hence "Goldy") that Rin is referring to. She is what we would call in the community, a Pseudo-Servant (Essentially Ishtar uses Rin's body as a vessel to manifest). However due to what version of Rin they've described, it might be a bit different from the Ishtar situation we know about
