Here's one thing to address. Blizzard fires of midnight runs it one season and at the beginning of midnight 2 they announce a brand new expansion in a month. Way to go blizzard. Do we get a discount for the new expansion. That the fastest full expansion release since the beginning. Are you loosing that much money. You know if you would have listened to the actual players you would not be in this position.
Oh boy a third version of the same game, I cannot wait for World of Warcraft 4.
I played the first ever beat – loved it all those years ago. Not played it in years. But this might just make me dip my toes back in the water.
I haven’t played WoW in ten+ years, but I’m definitely gonna play WoW Forever.
Definitely going to give it a shot! id love a classic wow that goes horizontal progression in Azeroth as its main setting, with the classic style instead of cycling thru the xpacs for content. This concent of WoW classic is the version of classic that i had envisioned and wanted when they were first talking about it
but yea idk wtf is with the smiley AI–anime-waifu disney elves, get that shit out of here lol. and the trailer doesnt really feel like warcraft….Warcraft is supposed to be gritty and dark, its a world constantly at war ( go figure… WARcraft). I still like the original WoW trailer so much more, watch it beside the one revealed there at blizzcon and the difference in tone and style is so stark.
I like the old Night elves with their angular, savage features and culture just fine. their style of tribalism, naturalistic magic, spiritualism and savagery is exactly the kind of worldbuilding that made warcraft lore so appealing. disney slop elves are just not it
Well ill hope the trailer is just modern lame marketing doing its thing, and that the principle behind bothering to do a forever classic like this is adhered to; that it remains largely stylistically unchanged from vanilla. it could be the kind of classic a lot of us actually wanted

Dude ever expansion you act this way, calm down it's Blizzard we're talking about here. They haven't made a good expansion since Lich King. Everyone gets excited for the new drop and then 3 months later everyone is pissing and moaning about it so chill and get ready to be disappointed.

The music in the new trailer feels like Disney music and not Warcraft music, and the addition of the skyborne race feels off, they had so many good WARCRAFT races to choose from. They missed…. Calling it now if they don't remove that race or change it it'll just be Retail Minus and not Classic Plus.

It's basically done because it's a reskin. They just polished old content. EQ tried this as well with the Texture update.

I remember watching my weed dude play WoW in 2007, I think. It was way less sparkles and color bursts . It had some serious gore factor and was kinda intimidating. Now it looks like Pao world.
