On the same day this October, Japan announced that Shigeru Miyamoto will receive the Order of Culture, its highest cultural honor and the first ever for someone who makes video games, and in Paris, Eiji Aonuma was knighted into France’s Order of Arts and Letters. Two men who got into Nintendo by showing someone a toy they made by hand. This is how The Legend of Zelda went from a toy company to the Imperial Palace.
What was the first game that felt like more than a toy to you? Tell me in the comments.

Suggestion: low pass/sibilance filters to cut out the harsh high-freq audio. cheers!
Aaaand hes left handed, a noteworthy quirk. I wish all Zelda games should honor, unless Nintendo does something crazy and let us choose left/ right handed animation sets fro Link at game startup. Anyway. Miyamoto is a LEGEND! And deserve all them praises!
Games are still toys. BOTW is a toy. The Devine Beast is a toy.
2:17 That's THE G.O.A.T. right there. 👍🏻
The only thing I'll say is that Miyamoto should have gotten the honor earlier.
