Just played the trial.. "Regression" is the first word that comes to mind when I try to describe Madden 27. This is a bad game. The players look like they are playing on an invisible surface that is 2 inches above the field, running backs are still bumper cars between the tackles, DBs are standing still for just beat, losing any angle they had pursuing a runner in the open field (regardless of whether or not I am controlling them – even if I am controlling the defender, I'll still find myself locked out of controlling them for a moment), the scoreboards in the stadiums still just show the team icons the entire game instead of any dynamic presentation, and the announcers still drone on and on about meaningless filler while I can run 3 plays without them mentioning any of them..
Madden 27 is, somehow, a regression from Madden 26. Bad game. Bad.
