I don't think there is any "male conspiracy here" some characters just get less focus and others do…..he got more than suisui who didn't even have segue, mainly integrated in 3.5 quest liek jingran was in 3.6 and jingran was also there in 3.5…..
would have loved if got explore backstory and netherworld? sure yes ? but the present stuff we got with him was impactful even with lower screentime….and i also wish for lot of tings to been explore for many characters…but its live service there will be things cut and focused on things more…luuk was given most focus after aemeath so good there maybe next male will be given more focus like luuk

I'm sure many people will pull him and I'm not trying to ruin it for them but this is my complaint with Kuro games so I'm just sharing my views on this.
I was so excited for Jingran ever since they revealed him. Then I saw his gameplay and I was even more excited, I genuinely think his gameplay and animations are better than Qingxiao. Although I believe his ult could have been a little bit better if they added environmental changes like they do with other character ults but still I was hyped for him. He would have been my first limited male unit on my account(I'm a day 1 player). After a very long time I felt Kuro games finally made a male unit I want to pull.
But they ruined it all by giving him almost no story significance, screentime or a separate quest for him. Call me a casual but I never pull based on who's meta or who's the more popular unit or who has better gameplay. I always have to like the writing and story of the character first before I pull them. That's my bare minimum I never care about anything else but the character should be atleast well written and have enough screentime for me to like them. That's why I pulled Sigrika when everyone skipped her. I pulled Denia when everyone went for Hiyuki or saved for the collab. This would have been a similar case I would have skipped Hsin for Jingran. All Kuro had to do was give him proper respect like they give their other characters. It's a shame
Wow his the animation effects look especially good, and cool aesthetic and weapon design too. 😆 The black cats are fun. Songs a bop too and nice animation showing his past more. Gonna be fun experiencing his story🕯️
