What? So ive just bought the current one for £60 and there is a new one coming out?? Wow…
I can’t wait till this come out looking forward to the rescues firefighting an the blimp tours.
It’s a game, not a true simulator.
What is all the fuss about? I started simulation flying with FSX. Then, there were seasons, helicopter missions moving cargo about, real time weather, VIP charter flights off a rooftop in Japan, etc. There was even an executive charter flight off the coast of Florida mission. I flew an African mission in that little trike over herds of elephants and other critters. There was even an African mission in a helicopter where bad guys were shooting at me. FSX had thermals for glider flying as well as launch aircraft. I remember flying Accelerator into a hurricane and the wind was about what it was in real life, and it swirled around. I flew military aircraft of every description, and it was not a big deal, just novel. Now, I don't get to fly my A2A B-17 unless I want to get back into P3D. I really miss A2A's Spitfire, P-47, P-40, and others. Where are those now? None of these capabilities are new, they're just new to those who are just getting into the sim, I guess.
While the sim looks better now, I wonder why something like seasons makes everyone drop their drawers. I upgraded to Accelerator and then to P3D because I wanted 64-bit capability so I could fly those big PMDG planes. However, I was forced to buy all those planes again for P3D. Then, I was supposed to buy everything yet again for MSFS, and they're not cheap. That was when I dropped out. Every once in a while I check back in to see how things are going, but decided to wait a while longer when I saw that getting seasons was not really possible (until now?). I guess I will wait a while longer yet.

Where the main gun should be on the A-10 there is a camera lens. Interesting.
More trash pretty much and full of bugs. MSFS 2020 still has bugs 4yrs later.

What VR improvements are there?
I'm not interested, it feels like a cash grab. They originally claimed that MSFS2020 was going to be it and would be updated over an extended period, so they dropped the "2020" and just called it MSFS, but now they've realised they can make even more money by taking that back and deciding to make another only a few years on. I can't trust a word they say from this point on, unfortunately.

This is such a leap in terms of activities and graphics – they didn't even mention the visual upgrades except for seasons, that I would glady pay the full price for this. Asobo are wizards.
The reason I keep resisting from buying msfs 2020 is, despite it is a very great game, it lacks of world detail when we fly near the ground. Now msfs 2024 is really a dream come true

Developers need to add a “democrat” slider to increase or decrease the flames and smoke coming from various cities, and the amount of violence happening down on the streets.
Even just on normal, there would be crowds of fatties with pink green and purple hair lighting crap on fire, with a line of riot police.
No wait… they can name it “Summer Of Love” slider.
I miss the old Squirrel when he reviewed Battlefield, Call of Duty and other action games.
I Know a Guy he was both, the Pilot and the Person that jumped out. Unfortunatley he was the only Person on board 😢
It will be released unrefined like late beta just as they did before. I can't play MSFS2020 90FPS at 4K with RTX4080. I guess less than anything RTX4090 will not be enough for MSFS2024 at 4K.
