This Deep Dive showcases Teostra in Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, offering a detailed look at the returning Elder Dragon’s combat and how hunters can use the expansion’s new gameplay mechanics against powerful threats. Ascendance introduces the Boost Bracer, which temporarily enhances the unique capabilities of all 14 weapon types through new Boost Actions.
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance is a massive paid expansion that continues the story beyond the ending of Monster Hunter Wilds. It introduces Master Rank, new monsters, additional quest ranks, expanded weapon actions, and new locales including the Skybound Eyrie, a mysterious region floating above the clouds. The expansion launches in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
