Ananta looks so much more fun and enjoyable (FOR ME)
Overall, I’m in love with the direction Ananta is going for now, though I do still kinda hope there’s still some remnants of what we saw during both the initial teaser way back when as Project Mugen and/or some of the stuff that we saw back when they revealed the project’s name change and second trailer like a year and a half ago. Hopefully some of those ideas and themes still exist, but a lot of the more recent information has been showing that approach seems to be by and largely discarded, so it’s hard for me to tell what exactly their thoughts are on the approach with the project at this point and I hope it’s just mostly the devs choosing to play their cards EXTREMELY close to their chest rather than a complete divorce from whatever their initial vision was, because unless they’re absolutely certain with this newer direction, it really gives the feeling that the game’s future post-launch can possibly be meandering and uncertain as the devs continue to try their best to not hit the same or similar beats to other games on the market in a desperate attempt to carve out a niche. Not saying that that’s a bad thing, being unique should always be a priority, I’m just saying that there’s only two reasons to do it this way, and if it’s the latter where they’re only doing it because games like NTE have released and other titles like Wuwa and ZZZ also appear to be gearing up for trying something a little similar albeit suited to their own design philosophy, rather than the former where it’s being done with their full chest because they’re confident in their direction being able to hit the market and compete without needing to make any excessive sacrifices to their vision.
Also, we still never got any information about that Sawano-like song from the Project Mugen teaser trailer, and if that isn’t in the game’s final launch build, that in all honesty is the most serious crime yet with the direction change /s. (Seriously though, I absolutely love music and that piece going along with the initial trailer was what initially sold me on the game.)
Can’t wait to see gameplay.

I wasn't interested in anime gtas, and nte's controversies worsen the image of them..
..but this trailer alone made me pre-register Ananta. I love how unique the MC feels. I don't hate the idea of self-insert MCs, I just hate how they are realized.

I do think they kinda fumbled this announcement not putting/saying front and center this isn't a gacha, least for the parts that matter. Their whole goal in removing it was to bring in people who don't like gacha, so not understanding the importance of highlighting that when it LOOKS like a gacha is probably going to cost them more of that audience than it should.
A couple months after GTA 6 I finally get to play anime GTA 6😭
I personally like that they're not revealing a lot of stuff about the game. We've already seen gameplay, we know how that looks. I don't mind not knowing more stuff about Ananta and wait for the surprise

The fact that they changed his previous appearance cause they knew they were using Caelus goofy personality and the previous form of the MC was way too similar to Caelus, so they got a Solo Leveling MC looking Rover instead.
Time to delete all gachas because ananta just provided us with anime game with no bull shit gacha
I really hope they don't fumble, this look so good .. I absolutely love the artstyle.
We waited so long but somehow but somehow this release date still feel too early. Still worried they didn't figure out what kind of game this actually is. Hopefuly I'm wrong.
Looks like there is quite a lot of story and the presentation looks amazing. I'd be totally down for a mostly story game if they fleshed it out.
