This game is waste of money.
From my experience playing CYO, AAU, high school and college basketball, dunks and layups are the easiest shots to make. They’re almost unmissable. Yet they are making them highly skill based? Way to alienate casuals.
Same sorry ass 2K. They are fortunate that so many mentally troubled individuals exist for them to prey on.

Every year, it’s the same shit — especially with NBA 2K. Every year, they add a few minor changes and new features, but at the end of the day, it’s basically the exact same game. They tweak the graphics a little, throw in a couple of new features, and that’s about it.
Of course, they could do so much more, especially when it comes to the graphics and overall technical improvements. But I guess they intentionally hold back so they still have something to add to the next game and the one after that. That way, they can keep selling the same game every year while making it look like there’s something new.
Honestly, I just think it’s ridiculous at this point. Every year, it’s the same routine: a few minor changes, a new title, a new price — and there you go, another game to buy. At the end of the day, it’s the same shit every year.

nba 2k27: gambling edition
The only time nba looked better was when they changed the gen from ps4 to ps5. Now even this new ones seem to be worse in terms of graphics. Glad I don't play this new nba games and have fun playing older ps2 games in 4k, so much better in terms of fun.

Honestly none of this even matters if anyone can still shoot 60-70% from the 3 point line. You might as well be turning the ball over to the other team going for a layup or a dunk.
