Tor Frick, creative director at Neon Giant, stopped by Unreal Fest Chicago to show off more of No Law and how Unreal Engine has allowed this smaller team was able to create an “immersive, high fidelity shooter.”
By using such tools as Nanite, Neon Giant was able to create certain pipelines that helped their artists handcraft spaces and ensure the quality was up to hteir standards.
MetaHuman, Lumen, MegaLights, PCG, and Niagara Data Channels also helped realize their vision for Port Desire, complete with NPCs that “react to dynamic lighting and a world that reflects the player’s exploration.”

I'm really curious to see how the game turns out. It looks very promising so far!
Another game that I don’t want to play as a Christian. One day there will be a game like this not blatantly steeped in sin.
ascent on sale rn on steam!!! $3
so stoked for this game
god pls change the stupid name before launch…game looks cool otherwise
2:33 Why did they keep that shot of the guy walking on the right falling through the floor? 😂😂
🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
I can’t wait to see console version because you know this is pushed to the max on a high end computer.
Please make it third person
cant wait for this, for me a day one buy for the ps 5
Why this Cyberpunk craze?
What's with the man with the iron fist?
Why do people look like that?
Why didn't you make the game more like GTA?
I smell this blind imitation is going to fail.
What era is this? Flying cars and people flying? The game will flop. For your information, Cyberpunk wasn't bought for the great story, but for the amazing graphics.
No Law will be my Kool aid jammer like Cyberpunk 2077
slick and cool.
Jitters and low fps in tech trailer is a new way of UE 5 cope
WOW I CAN'T WAIT TO EXPERIENCE THE 3RD WORLD!!
I pirate every unreal game. I will never pay for a game that runs on UE5
Obviously a few bugs still with elements popping or disappearing, but if this wasn’t being done as a graphics promo, they’d be barely noticeable. Looks very cool.
How did I missed this. And yep, density is key
Looks amazing but the camera is always moving so slow, i want to see they running through the environment to see how blurry it gets.
Doesnt look that great tbh
Can I play this on my base PS5?
What was the point of uploading this if not in 4k ign? Kinda ruins the point of "shoeing off" a tech demo.
This is also just Night City but maybe 5-10 years prior.
so like a dying light cyberpunk?
im so excited i could fall asleep
“Game graphics” that can support a new season of LDR or Secret Level (Prime)
Muricans don't care about physics nor realism, they just want to set the world on fire.
Cyberpunk 2087
"and how Unreal Engine has allowed this smaller team was able to create an…"
BRO THEY TEACHED ME BETTER IN SCHOOL!
I love the zoom out from the guy cooking on the stove, It's pretty misleading though because you can tell after it zooms outside, not all interiors are fleshed out like that, thats probably a POI.
Wow. This is probably the first game that fully showcases the power of the Unreal Engine.
My RX6600: gulp
I can't freaking wait
Really liked The Ascent! I'm glad the team managed to make another great game! Can't wait to play it!
Nooo, not FPS, make it TPS
This looks like the crimson desert engine
Damn gaming is going to get awesome and i want in
running nice with 60FPS on an apple M6 mac mini cigar box with 35W power consumption.
Tech Demo. We'll see about the actual game and how it'll look and run like.
i want to know how much programmers were swearing during implementing everything listed, lol
A tech demo at 1080p, cheers ign
This script feels very ai
Combine this with a good vr-mod and foveated streaming, would go hard as hell.
3:59 I want this game !
As long as they saw what Cyberpunk 2077 did wrong and were able to improve/fix it and not require a cutting edge system, this should be a fantastic game.
“An Unreal Engine Process has crashed” simulator 😅
if funny cause its a performance tech demo and it doesnt look fluid at all
Can´t wait to play it at 120 fps 4k on my steam machine.
Ah yes, shooting out the lights. Absolutely revolutionary.
"2002 Sam Fisher has entered the chat"
State of UE5 : stutters, bad performance, everything looks the same and every dev using it is a instant not buy
Can't wait for it to stutter like hell at 20 FPS or 120 FPS, no matter the hardware.
Why ppl even use unity?
Bruh, my GPU heated up just by watching this video
