Xbox has now said they're supporting the devs
If you've spent time in Conan exiles and like pokemon this game will fit like a glove. Only annoying difference for me so far is having to maintain hunger levels….. terrible draw back for easier taming/capture. Felt crazy when i captured a human as a pal… wonder if they'll change that in the future

The game need a lot of help
From my impression having played it for a couple of hours, a survival crafting game with loads of totally not Pokémon’s used for most of the core parts of the game, with an overall design and feel that’s reminiscent of breath of the wild.
Honestly quite refreshing, for see this sort of take on its
Game freak has basically been making the same Pokémon game the last two decades. To see an entirely different genre and approach, that still feels like an alternate universe version of what a Pokémon game on the switch could maybe have been a bit like.
Overall a both very familiar and new experience at the same time. And a refreshing mix of genres, that overall work pretty good together.
Has to be said, even if they change nothing, the game still gives you more play time then alot of AAA games at half the price
Palworld took roughly 3 years to make and looks pretty good… Meanwhile Ashes of Creation has no release date in sight has been in the works since late 2015 to early 2016… lol!
I've usually shy away from survival games like Ark or even Minecraft as the prospect of needing to sink hours in to grind, gather and build stuff is overwhelming. But who knew having Pals to do these tedious stuff while looking adorable is just the solution. And I totally agree how well the game runs and how easy it was to setup a multiplayer server.
Pokémon’s with guns or Fortnite with Pokémon 🤣

You can breed Pals, 2 very poweful pals with great stats. And the baby will be born with similar stats to the parents. Keep doing this right and you can get a very powerful Pal.

seems mid to be honest. the idea isn't all bad but, the execution looks like a bunch of store assets glued together.

Seeing that enshrouded is dropping this week I’m definitely going to wait a bit on Palworlds. With the bad track record of the devs and still not being too sure on the game(not cuz it’s bad but I just can’t put my finger on it lol), ima wait maybe a month or so and see if most of this is purely hype or if it has legs to stand on
We see what happens to games when they come out the blue and get crazy hype by everyone under the sun.
The game being on gamepass is great. You can try it and then if you want to support the devs you can. I feel all early access games should do that considering how hit or miss many are. I’m gonna check it out just for this reason alone.
Game looks fun… Still think the devs / publishers / whoever is at fault were dumb as hell to EA / release right next to Tekken 8 & GranBlue Fantasy: Relink.
