# A major new update is coming to Wuthering Waves! 🌙✨
Version 3.7: “Prism’s Illusion, Heart’s Illumination” launches on PS5 on September 30, 2026, bringing new story content, two new Resonators, a new area, Echoes, events, and a wide range of gameplay and quality-of-life improvements.
Developed by Kuro Games, the free-to-play open-world action RPG continues the journey across Solaris-3 with a new chapter of the story and a huge collection of new features.
📖 New Story & Area
Version 3.7 adds Main Quest Chapter IV Act IV: Simulacrum of the Heart, along with the new Tales Quest Moonlike Heart, Mortal Longing.
Players can also explore the new Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou area and take part in the new permanent event Blooms for the Shadow.
⭐ New Resonators
Two new Resonators join the roster:
Hsin
A brand-new Resonator arriving through the Featured Resonator Convenes.
Suoming
Also joins the roster in Version 3.7, bringing new combat possibilities alongside Hsin.
Two new weapons will also be added: Blooming Jadehaven and Unspoken Rue.
👻 New Echoes & Sonata Effects
The Echo system expands with five new Echoes:
• Formrender
• Soulfrayer
• Skywatch Lancer
• Bloomburst Puppet
• Jade Nether Serpent
Three new Sonata Effects are also introduced: Heart of Sworn Vigil, Flash of Electric Reflection, and Flower of Tinged Yearning.
Players can additionally obtain Phantom: Skywatch Lancer.
🎮 Major Gameplay Improvements
Version 3.7 introduces several important quality-of-life upgrades, including Main Quest Replay through the Journey Log.
Players can replay selected quests from Versions 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3, with additional chapters planned for future updates.
Echo management is also being streamlined, with unequipped, non-upgraded Echoes sharing the same type, Sonata Effect, and Mainstat automatically stacking together.
📸 New Camera Features
The Camera System receives a major expansion with Handheld Mode and Selfie Mode.
Players can customize poses and expressions, use a freer Tripod Mode, and take advantage of new tools including:

Environmental settings such as time, weather, foliage wind direction, filters, and lighting can also be adjusted directly through the Camera system.
👥 Improved Team Management
The number of available team setups increases to 20, while a new 3D Team Setup Mode allows players to switch between 2D and 3D presentations.
Players can also reorder and name their team setups for easier organization.
🎉 New Events & Anniversary Rewards
Version 3.7 includes numerous events, including Cubie Wars, Gifts of Waking Moon, Echo Erase, Dreams in the Capsule, Past Dreams, Traced Seals, Artisan’s Search, and Beyond the Waves: Land of Xuanfang.
The Gifts of Singing Drizzle login event will also provide Radiant Tide ×10 along with additional rewards.
