Razer is introducing a unique peripheral aimed at gamers who want an immersive audio experience without the limitations of wearing a headset. Meet the Razer Clio, a gaming chair attachment designed to provide headset-like sound directly from your seat.
The Razer Clio features integrated near-field twin speakers with 43mm full-range drivers, engineered to direct sound towards your ears, promising clear, high-fidelity audio even outside a traditional “sweet spot”. It can be used as a single primary speaker or combined with existing front speakers via Synapse 4 to create a more dynamic surround sound experience, acting as rear channels to enhance gameplay and entertainment. Support for THX Spatial Audio aims to elevate immersion with expansive acoustic modes for a more hyper-realistic listening experience.
Connectivity methods are varied, offering Razer HyperSpeed Wireless for ultra-low latency audio on PC and console, plus standard Bluetooth for compatibility with Android and iOS devices. The Clio boasts up to 14 hours of audio freedom on a single charge. It charges via a standard USB-C connector (USB-C cable not included in the box). Designed to attach to most high-backed gaming chairs using adjustable nylon straps, it integrates a plush memory foam head cushion for added support and comfort while listening.
The Razer Clio will be available globally starting May 16th for $229.99/€199.99.
