Rockstar dropped 63 new GTA 6 screenshots on June 24, 2026 and the internet immediately called it a downgrade. Jason’s safehouse, Lucia’s face, hair quality, empty beach everything was compared side by side with the trailers.
But did Rockstar actually downgrade GTA 6? Or is something else going on?

Screenshots are literally perfect and trust me, some screenshots seem like they’re not and there are multiple things affecting it as you said yourself, becoz they have to make it run on ps5, difference in lighting’s and timing, cinematic editor shots of rockstar (promotional), LOD (mainly higher). There’s usually no need to show something so detailed at farther point of view when you aren’t even going to notice it… (some unemployed dweebs do). The patents they filed on this game itself are being flexed on their screenshots, while people are criticising it. Another thing is that our minds are wired to not see something static but dynamic, that is why we seem to get along with trailer being better (dynamic) and screenshot as bad (static)
Just wait until it releases on pc, it will run on its purely full potential… such level that people would forget any other games. Then there is also fact that ps5 and Xbox can only run this game 30 fps, or max 40fps. No matter if you have a pro, cpu is the bottleneck!! 😂

Bhai agar downgrade hua bhi hai toh bhi accha dikh raha hai. Etni badi problem bhi nhi hai ki khela hi na ja sake. Aur waise bhi woh trailer 1 mei cutscene tha toh cutscene or gameplay mei farak hota hai. Agar graphics chahiye toh pc version 1 year baad ayega uska wait karo. lekin jo log bolte hai ki graphics se kuch farak nhi padta gameplay zyada matter karta hai fir baad mei online game ke graphics ki burai karte hai ke dekho 0/10 game hai unko mei hyprocrite bolu ga.
