Players take on the role of an elite operative hired by the Grey State Agency to venture into The Grey State (an unstable, nightmare-filled dimension) to retrieve valuable artifacts like The Vertex while surviving a lawless frontier alongside or against rival squads.

– Core Gameplay Modes: Features both squad-based PvPvE extraction mode and a dedicated 3-player co-op PvE mode set on rugged, shifting locations like Northern Europe’s Boreas Isle.
– Tactical Arsenal & Support: Utilize a mix of basic loadouts, heavy special equipment (flamethrowers, recoilless rifles), and devastating Tactical Support strikes (high-explosive shell barrages and incendiary rockets).
– Dynamic Environments & Anomalies: Deployments feature shifting terrain, Haze coverage, and unpredictable portals into the Grey State where reality breaks down, requiring players to follow surreal survival protocols like avoiding gravity anomalies or moving household appliances.
– Classes & Build-Crafting: Deep talent trees allow players to dominate through clever builds and squad synergy. There are 3 distinct classes for now: Sledge, Pyro and Phantom.
– Fair-to-Play Model: Completely free-to-play supported strictly by cosmetic purchases. No pay-to-win mechanics or purchasable player power.
