The trailers for Dustborn looks embarassing lol. A bunch of hideous looking women trying to change the world with music against a power that so far has been voiced to be like white guys and the punk group they fight are also mainly white characters.
I find it broken, that people keep pushing the same false narrative. Over and over. If I talk to any of my friends in larger cities, their brain is broken and they immediately make it about politics and get aggressive about it. I am just so tired of hearing it. I'm a country boy into games and comics and fishing, and all that kind of general country stuff mixed with the other. i think this stupid narrative is …. made by a bunch of brain dead lunatics that doesn't know what life is. Just makes my head hurt.

How are these "heroes" supposed to use words as weapons, when that's what they themselves are weak to? All the bad guys have to do is accidentally misgender someone nearby to inflict massive party wide critical hits. Then they can just wait for the microaggression DoT effect they're all permanently afflicted with to finish them off. After that, it will take weeks of therapy before they can come back and bother anyone again.

Honestly this game is cringe but at least it’s their own game. I’d rather this than them continuing to hijack primarily male dominated franchises. This is arguably better than them infiltrating, irreparably changing and then kicking us out of the fandom claiming it’s not for us anymore.

Western game developers really need to realise and accept that people outside the US don't care about the US elections and internal politics just like we don't expect people in the US to care about our countries politics. If you are going to insert your internal politic into games don't act surprised when your international sales suffer for it.
if you "must" make a game based on US politics take tips from Japan, as Metal Wolf Chaos is the most American game ever made and everyone loves it.
