While the revivals are cool and I'm looking forward to them, the arcade part of the video really surprised me- I wasn't even aware those games existed! Still, one just has to hope the cancellation of Hyenas hasn't been TOO much of a disaster for SEGA, would be a shame if they decided to hype up a bunch of retro-related games but then it comes out that they have to cancel them to conserve cash…

Also worth mentioning: the Sonic Frontiers update that added Tails, Knuckles & Amy with their whole own sections of the game.
I'm pretty excited about the reviving of classic IPs; but at the same time, as a Sega fan, its best not to keep the expectations too high.
I'm definitely hoping for the best though.
And i really hope they make a proper sequel to the original NiGHTS;
the Wii "sequel" was really just a spin off, and had nothing of the arcade'y, score attack gameplay of the original
I still think it was a great year for Sega/Sammy

Btw x, don't be surprised if Sega announces a new shining force. For some reason, that's been ticking in the back of my mind. Usually I'm not wrong with my predictions, and maybe you've been thinking the same thing. I hope so, as I would love to see a new entry in the series.

Yeah low budget mobile and forced online multi certainly isn't going to help Sega, especially forced online multi, i seriously hate it when any dev does that and wish they'd stop, developers need to get it through their heads that not everyone wants to play online. Sonic Superstars is a great game i recently purchased and i feel its heavily underrated due to all the Mario Wonder hype, Superstars is the best Sonic game i've played in years and if you're a true Sonic fan you're missing out big time if you haven't played it yet.
how many new games need to relase sega neptune console. almost 7 games announced still no console.
Yakuza series is amazing
Just keep in mind, the sonic the hedgehog movies did very well in theaters. Keep that in the back your head, Sega has fans like crazy.
