I tried playing this game and tbh onr thing taht made me stop playing was the gunplay .like all the reviws and trailers showed it as some seriouse milsim .but compared to insurgency sandstorm the gunplay kinsa felt bad .

The base of the game is okay. But nowhere near $52 million worth. This is clearly being massively mismanaged somewhere.

There are things I would do for 52 million dollars and spend it on far more easy returns on investment that doesn’t just apply to video games.
52 million could probably fund a new railroad company restoring a preexisting rail line to operational order and still have millions to spare specifically for either many restorations on steam locomotives or at least 1 or 2 newly built locomotives.
I’m using trains as a financial measurement just to put into perspective how expensive things get when games get millions in budget, especially double digit millions

Honestly I hope secret mode does take over because victura has clearly showed its inability to complete the game. Secret mode has more skin in the game and seems to really want to see it completed. I opened it on steam about a month ago and seen there was no updates or anything and about 8 months ago there was hardly anyone playing. I was wondering what was going on, now it all makes sense. They had $52M and ~8 years to get it off the ground, I don’t see how it’s Secret Mode’s fault. It’s not just secret mode disappointed at Victura it’s the fanbase also. Look at what BodyCam has been able to keep up, they have no excuse or grounds to blame Secret Mode. $2.5M in seeding by a 17 & 20yo compared to $52M and a team… yeah give it to Secret Mode, no debate.
Unofficial Mod support dropped recently for it too
They were doomed the moment they wanted to turn this into an online coop shooter instead of an interactive documentary.

Glad I refunded it, twice within a little over a year of each other. Not optimized, underwhelming release of only 2 missions. Development has ranged from non-existent to less than snail pace. Honestly it should actually be taken from developers and either cancelled or made into generic shooter slop, which would be better at this point.

Yeah, take the game away from the actual devs, turn it into a failed CoD or Tarkov clone, milk it for as much money as possible, disappear.
I dont know this game at all and Idk the studio however one thing I want to point out is that the studio might be right. Knowing secret mode they are very shady they barely been out, they have shady connections and also having a 3rd party studio thats made very shitty games be the testers for QA is insane. This all seems more like a hostile take over than them wanting the game to be good. This is just from my outside looking in. Because like i said the publisher is a very shady company they keep bad company they work with shady people are shady themselves seems pretty cut and dry to me. Ik ik this is trust me bro but do your own research this is my own concusion and im only posting to get feedback good and bad. I want to know thoughts on these points but at your own research cost.

Before signing a contract read it, get your lawyer to read it, read it again, get your trusted friend to read it, and then sign. If you treat it like online terms & conditions don't be surprised when it comes back to bite you on the arse.
This all sounds familiar we had an amazing game in hell let loose when the owners owns it then t17 took over now look at the pile of shit. This games nothing to write home about but can see the potential tho if they original Devs get booted I'm out I don't support corporate thieving.
Those dudes are playing with a new style AI and I don’t think they have the talent to do so, that’s why it’s taking so long and so much, 52 million 8 years that’s kind of embarrassing as a studio for what they’re presenting on top of it only being at 0.8 dude they’re fuckin off over there it sounds like.
