I feel like this needs to be faster paced and a closer camera..
I actually think they misfired on this trailer. This game doesn't leave an impression on you because of its wacky player slogans or over-the-top stadium gimmicks. The absolute catch of this game and what makes you want to play 1 more match is the moment-to-moment gameplay, how fast a scoring opportunity can materialize and how ultra smooth and clean the movement, passing, and shot aiming is. I think a better way to 'sell' this game would've been to do sort of like a parody of a John Madden Pat Summerall yellow pen play analysis. Show an actual play that the players will experience similar moments to, and then break it down instant replay style from different angles and playback speeds etc.
I miss the original Bitmap Brothers Team with Dan Malone as the creative brain behind the visuals 😢

This is one of my favourite games as a kid. I was about 14 years old, We even reinvented it on the streets with roller skates. It Brings back so many great memories. I always played as Steal Fury 😁

Does anyone ever remember "Klashball" on the original NES? I was a beast on that one. I used to restart league tournaments if the CPU scored even a single point lol. For the right price I'd definitely take the nostalgia bait.
Speedball 2 on the Amiga was pure fast-paced magic, full of style and character when the Bitmap Brothers were at the peak of their powers. Looks like the soul has now been ripped from the game.
