“Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a fabulous looking and frantically fast anti-grav racer that impressively goes further than just taking the decades-old Star Wars Racer games and giving them a 4K facelift. With a range of satisfyingly customisable vehicle classes beyond podracers, a world outside the racing you can soak in and explore in third-person, and an interesting roguelite-adjacent structure that injects a considerable degree of risk into the action, Galactic Racer is a fresh and accomplished blend of Lucas lore with the destructive spirit of arcade racing icons like Burnout and MotorStorm. Its run-based campaign can grow unavoidably tedious over long stints because of its heavy reliance on repeatedly revisiting the same slim selection of planets, and its lack of splitscreen is disappointing considering its roots run back to consoles regarded as the kings of same-couch chaos. But Galactic Racer is an otherwise confident debut from developer Fuse Games, and one that has successfully lit the afterburners on a long-dormant slice of the Star Wars universe.”

It’s such a shame you need to have an Epic Games account to play this game. I created an account years ago and forgot the email address I used to create the account, which unfortunately was linked to my PlayStation Network account. Epic Games have the worst customer support ever because trying to recover an account if you forgot your email address that created it, is impossible. So only option is to get a refund for this game. A real bummer because I actually wanted to play this game, but I’m locked behind an unrecoverable account.

Glatic racer is an example of a game that can get boring fast , needs more planets and sense of danger like obstacles, game needa dlc badly. Game looks cool but I was not sold to buy it on release. Game missing split screen sucks did devs forget why players be hyped with star wars racers. These games are not system sellers but what switch 2 doing is system sellers with there games

The game has amazing menus and graphic design. I know that is one of the least important things, but it's striking.

Loved Episode one Racer on the N64. Always wondered why this racer was never revisited on the PS3 or XBOX360 or any consoles afterwards. Glad to see a new entry after what feels like forever. And a good one at that!

The absence of couch co-on is such a letdown. This game would be so much fun at a party.
