Get a closer look at gameplay from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake in this latest video for the upcoming remake of the 1998 adventure game. This new gameplay video, led by series producer Eiji Aonuma, showcases Kokiri Village, Hyrule Field, and Hyrule Castle Town. We get to see new, overhauled visuals with reimagined graphics, and new mechanics, including the ability to rotate the camera, jumps which are now done via button presses versus automatically in the original game, and the addition of new dialogue. We also get a look at dungeon gameplay in the Great Deku Tree, throwing Deku nuts and using the slingshot item to solve puzzles and fight enemies. New features also show that time no longer stops in towns, and day and night cycles will continue. You can also hum songs Link has learned that will play on the Ocarina, and the game will also react to instruments. Additionally, a new feature is Threads of Time, where you can see progress you’ve made in your story and check your next objective.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026.

It's the ultimate adventure game. Absolute classic that needs to be played at least once in a lifetime
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
This looks exactly like I remember back in 1995 or whatever year it was
C'mon guys C-buttone camera rotation was done just fine in Mario
link looks….creepy
I hope we can disable the annoying tacky text popups like at 9:30 and throughout the castle town. This one in particular feels pretty egregious in terms of being pointless and kind of dumb. It's not even a big drawbridge.
THIS IS THE WAY TO PLAY ZELDA GAMES, BECAUSE SEMI OPEN WORLD ZELDA GAMES ARE WAY BETTER THAN OPEN WORLD.
This looks sooo good
Holy shit dude start eating salads
Seriously hoping for the original voice actors for young link and adult like to return or at least have their sounds remastered.
India. Currency in an japanese game 😂😂😂😂
Ik damn well some of us are gonna remake Ben Drowned with this.
Do you think they will make changes to the water temple?
Look in this game, you can jump! Who woulda thought?!?
This is wonderful and I'm so happy that my generation and younger can experience this older game in a new way…but man do I want a third game in the BOTW series that takes place somewhere new or at least changes Hyrule enough to feel entirely different from both BOTW and TOTK
While it looks amazing, it looks beautiful, it also (hate to say it) loses some major charm factor. I guess I'm just officially old lol
Eff GTA 6…
Cant wait to see Arin Hanson from Game Grumps somehow complain over this game too.
What do you MEAN YOU KEPT LOADING SCREENS? WHY? that had nothjng to do with the essence of the game.
How dare you cut off the opening theme
Too many adverts ruin it
