Imagine, you're playing your rated M swat game, and all of the sudden, you're a school shooter.
No criticism here, simply documenting reality.
The most unrealistic part of this is how the police are actually doing something to stop the shooters.

Why would you criticize telling a realistic scenario when you can criticize how bad the ai and story is?
My respect for SWAT has double when you realise they have a 2-3% death rate over 250 calls and when civilians try it they have 3 dead in 7 minutes

Mass shootings are tragedies caused by reasons I won't even begin to list, but if you can't handle a game that depicts tragic events just simply don't play it.
Fun fact, the name of this mission, “elephant” is also the name of a 2003 movie about the Columbine massacre. The events of the mission share similarities to the massacre as well. Mainly the fact that there are multiple shooters rather than a lone in the mission as well as in Columbine which to my knowledge is something of a rarity in mass shootings. It was probably done for gameplay reasons but I still think it’s pretty interesting.
Didn't watch the whole video but I am bummed out this is a bomb threat mission and not a active shooter response mission.
As someone who was in a school shooting about two months ago, I knew there would be risks watching this video but I thought I could get through it anyways. Anywho, got to the two minute mark and had to pause the video and walk around my house for 10 minutes. I have made a mistake.

i was at a school where they apparently do active shooter drills.. like actual police come in and someone pretends to be a shooter and they try to find him.. i guess the first time they did it it took forever but the day i was there it was over fast..
criticism lol.. this game is training for police to stop shooters.. its something for board patrol cops to do to imagine being on swat to stop killings.. omg get your heads out of your ass people.. someone has to be able to confront ghastly realities.. just because you cant doesnt mean no one else has to.. thats why people get killed when this stuff happens cuz no one has the balls to do anything to stop it.. that being said it does kind of hit you when you think that the person youre taking down is possibly one of the kids.. but they tell you at the beginning of the game in the training.. this is a life saving business.. it makes me think more along the lines of negotiation with the shooter or taking him down less lethally even tho everyone in the world wants to see him burn.. yeah now watch all the people who claim this game is bad because this level exists get the knives out and talk about how the shooter deserves to be tortured.. sick freaks.. youre the ones who created this person remember?
