✅DMC peak of combat launched a month ago and i’ve been playing it in my spare time, ngl boys i’m pretty disappointed. This thing was hyped up for ages and to be honest i just wanted a new DMC ANYTHING. But hey it’s still better than DMC2 by a LONG SHOT.

Well it's a mobile game so one can expect it to be bad and very heavily monetized. So I think it's pretty obvious 😂
The game could've so much better. A prime example of a good gacha game and pretty f2p friendly is actually one piece fighting path. It looks so much better than dmc poc and does a lot of justice for the key moments of the series' story and offers much better combat and a much more balanced leveling system and general proggression is so much better.

all jokes aside I feel that a mobile spin-off of DMC shouldn't be a gacha game, at least not in the vein of games like Genshin Impact, I feel it would've worked better if each character had a fuller moveset with more than a singular "special attack" and would act independently of one another, with the player swapping between them rather than tagging them in and out, think FFVII Remake as opposed to Genshin Impact, unfortunately that might make it unsuitable for older phones, another option would've been to have players make their own custom character with the Gacha mechanic giving them various iconic weapons from across the series with players being able to equip two each of melee and ranged weapons to use in a more DMC-like fashion (it pains me to say that a DMC game needs to be "more DMC-like"), though like the previous idea it might be difficult to optimize for older devices

So the thing is that nebula joy actually ghosted me after "inviting us" to do more VA work for their game but never gave any of of an email or anything.

I dont like DMC franchise, i didnt play the games, just like the half of the 2 and then i let it, but its funny like, it was obvious that the game will be like that, one punch man game will be the same, literally(and its not a good thing) this is where we are, oversaturated games with shit mechanics and just a bunch of cash grabs
