I recently played through DD1 and I tried the warrior and there are core skills that actually help you keep your ground even if being hit, and also, you have a lot of range above your head, I though I would be restrain with harpies, but you can jump and hit them high in the sky and finish them on the ground. The way you finish an ennemy by climbing cliff and jump attack their head is so satisfying. Also, they have just like the fighter a way to attrack ennemi, and thats what he did before the Drake turns toward him, thats a warrior scream, you can have as ability.
I really wish Capcon, did not showcase all vocations just yet, since I hope there is a heavy shield class, perhaps a holy knight? Something like that, but I will be happy with what I have seen so far!
