Thrustmaster has introduced the TCA Sky Yoke, an all‑in‑one flight controller with an unusual twist, alongside PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC support, the TCA Sky Yoke also works on iOS and Android. That makes it suitable for both high‑end setups running Microsoft Flight Simulator and mobile‑focused sims such as Infinite Flight.
The TCA Sky Yoke combines seven axes, a built‑in throttle, trim wheel and rudder controls in a single unit, aiming to provide a complete setup without extra peripherals. The device features a 9cm pitch travel range and 180 degrees of rotation, with a steel‑mounted pitch axis and a self‑centering damping mechanism designed to deliver smoother movement without a central detent. Thrustmaster’s H.E.A.R.T. magnetic sensors are used across all axes, offering 16‑bit resolution and reducing drift over time by avoiding mechanical contact.
Controls include 24 action buttons, an 8‑way hat switch, a mini‑stick and two analog triggers, positioned so users can keep their hands on the TCA Sky Yoke throughout different phases of flight. The controller is automatically recognised in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on PS5, Xbox and PC, and in Infinite Flight on mobile, with preconfigured mappings available across all supported platforms. The TCA Sky Yoke can also be paired with Thrustmaster’s TFRP rudder pedals for more precise yaw control.
Thrustmaster is also promoting a Dual Control mode, allowing two TCA Sky Yoke units to be connected to the same aircraft on Xbox or PC. This enables instructor‑student setups or shared control between pilot and co‑pilot, with a button press transferring control between the two units. The TCA Sky Yoke is priced at £169.99.
