OK, I know this is still early in the game, but she does feel like she moves like a fortnite character. The jumping the acrobatic movement is all fine but when she walks and moves back-and-forth, it feels a little too Fortnite. I hope they fix that.. also they should give us more new gameplay. We’ve seen all this already.. at this point it’s like they’re milking the Tomb Raider dynamics.

but none of those is new or innovative or exciting. jumping, hanging, swinging and flips / "cartwheels" have been part of traversal in many games. for many years. even the originals as they have stated. so why is that supposed to still be engaging 30 years

It will be on ps5 tho I'm sure not everyone has one. More likely to own a PS4 I would be very pleased if it was on the PS4. But it won't will it. So not much good for me and I'm sure millions of others. 😢

Another cool lara croft game would be one called Tomb Raider legend of the jiba fofi basically way back in the 1500s a treasure hunter and his men disappeared into the Amazon trying to find the lost city of gold never to be seen again the Mayans worshipped this legendary giant spider who guards the secret to the lost city of gold lara can start a brand new adventure in the Amazon trying to find the legend and reveal it's secret to the location of the lost city of gold as she sets off on her adventure she ends up dealing with tigers giant boas poisonous spiders a cannibal tribe that hunts her dangerous baboons who eat human flesh on top of this giant spider who she will encounter many times in the jungle it would be a sick game and she would also have to deal with trinity who is also looking for the lost city of gold because it holds the secret to eternal life and if they get there hands on it they could rule the world and lara won't be able to stop them this would be a sick game

Glad they mentioned the movement. The last trilogy tried to be gritty and visceral but Lara's jumps were like she floated in the air which you could change. It felt very weird to me.

It looks cool but the grappling hook mechanic is so not realistic. I mean if she had to lasso something but shooting something out like you're batman just ruins the immersion.

Lara Croft really does get the royal treatment from whoever makes the game. They understand it’s important to deliver a good product with the Croft name attached to it.
Idk if this is crystal dynamics but they sure have the same spirit as them.
So the grapple is just a reskin of Reboot's rope arrows? Pity.
