Lies of P was my unexpected favorite this year. I am not a souls player by any stretch, and it showed when I struggled for hours on a few bosses, but I loved that game so much.

I’m a realist gamer. Now hear me out, I’m not talking real in an absolute sense but I don’t want fantasy games. Bring us 6 days in fuluja, a new boxing game, bring us “ready or not” on the platform. Some of us would rather not slay dragons with imaginary swords-no disrespect to those who like those types of games.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is the PS5 game of the year for me. Amazing, spectacular, and ultimate.
I also loved Hogwarts Legacy, burning shores, Forspoken, and super Mario bros wonder and expanse telltale season 1, and mortal kombat 1 for the campaign

The original Dead space is WAAAAAYYYY better as a horror game than the remake.
Final Fantasy 16 was definitely game of the year for me. But where in the hell is Hogwarts Legacy? That game was incredible. I feel like Hogwarts Legacy is getting really screwed over on all these ranking things.
Never played Dead Space back in the day, but I gotta say, the remake is fantastic! Top notch atmosphere and sound design in that game.
