This is a 2026 update to my older mod concept video. In this part-3 I’ll show more such mods with unique & innovative concept behind them. I would love to see some of these concept officially in Snowrunner.

The Hi-Rail Bumpers truck reminds of the Grand Tour where Jeremy, James, and Richard were running their cars on the railway lines away from the coal mining facility in Zimbabwe in the their final journey heading back to Botswana.
meh.
I'm honestly really on board with the high rail idea. Match it with a set of vehicles specific wheels that mate to the track width of the rails as well for better adhesion. I feel like that would be a good balance with its new capability. The truck has the ability to run on the rails and circumvent large issue sections on several maps. But with the custom bumpers and specific wheels you need to effectively use it It makes it less effective for the regular parts of the map. That way there's a trade-off.
I gotta get back into this game. Listen to a podcast and drive
I want to come back to SR but my bigges annoyance is that trucks arent balanced between them. A truck is better than another just because the devs wanted it, not because their specs are. Or not including mud tires in a truck can make it be worthless.
we love TWM's mods
The unpacked cargo loading mod no longer works
how do you install the unpacked cargo mod on console ?
Is the HI-Rail Bumpers included on XBOX?
Even cooler there are some hyrail semi trucks that have trailers that have rail wheels on them, or that can move full railcars aswell.
Hi-Rail bumpers is something i wished myself for a long time from modding community.
Would love to see a radar attachment for the Tayga-6455B like the irl Kraz-255B with the prv-16 radar module.
The trailer at 7:18 is similar to ones I have seen for very heavy hauls.
Deliver unpacked cargo is a game changer. I was never really certain if the devs wanted to have overloading as a sort of skill expression or if they only tolerated it. It lean towards the latter since they made changes for example in which overloaded cargo dissappears if you try to pack stuff underneath it. For that reason its such a hassle when you have to unload some cargo so that you can pack the rest, then deliver, then reload your cargo again.
The more mods that make the gameplay easier, the less interesting it becomes to play. For me, the most useful mods are the actual weight of goods and the cross-country ability of tires on different types of surfaces, then each delivery train will no longer be an easy ride, but an adventure.
Delivering unpacked cargo being implemented would mean having to make cargo weight the same regardless of it being packed or unpacked, which would make light or medium winches and light cranes basically useless for moving them in the first place
4:32 cruise control should have been brought over from Mudrunner in the first place
Has anyone thought about putting engageable AWD on a trailer? Just saying
January 1 0000 past olden earth century no future
I hope one day they will make full-fledged trains for this game with the ability to hook up several wagons, different locomotives, switching arrows and turning circles.
Manual shifting would be cool
Estos mods están disponibles para ps4? Otra cosa cuanto cuesta el mod privado?
Yea cool but I still want a functioning clutch……anybody else? It would completely change to game and make every vehicle more functional. Automatic can still be an option, the shifting in auto we have now is terrible, shifts down too late etc.
Would any of these work on console lol
I know several will
2:30 Just like roadcraft
Some of these mods are fantastic shame they are quite a bit are pc only
I wish we could get a mod that changes the color of the base game traillers the blue semi traillers get so boring
The only one that works is the Unique Ramp Trailer
The manual mods are some of my favorite, but they have some glaring problems, four come to mind.
Some of the mods even showcased here come with a warning about sketchy files you'll be downloading. The LOD one is an example.
Second, the modders have this weird habit of not describing everything they add or change. An example was a mod about friction, but it also added more winches and removed the level requirements for vanilla ones.
Third, the modders often assume you have a basic understanding of how to manually install snowrunner mods, and will only tell you the later half of the process. Leading to people flooding their comments section with how the mod doesn't work or needs an update, when it doesn't.
Fourth, friends can't join your games. They'll just crash back to main menu when attempting.
The LOD mod is interesting because the developers swore they couldn't fix the pop-in bug without "significant rework of the engine" yet here we have a modder fixing it for them without changing the engine at all.
The 58 crane is actually a semi trailer crane that originated in Ukraine & is used throughout Russia. I've never seen one fitted to a truck chassis IRL, I have used two fitted to Soviet era semi trailers imported into the UK, one a 16 tonne military the other a 9 tonne civilian on a two axle blue trailer with two reserve saddle type fuel tanks on the under the trailer chassis keeping them well away from the ground out of harms way, the rear impact bar was also on spring loaded hinges so it would never get hooked up on anything as SR trailers always do
I always thought it would be cool if the were active season changes and storms that affected the terrain while playing
Can you tell us or make a video on how to actually install manual mods in snow runner. I did it in Spin tires and Mudrunner but never figured it out for snow runner. Can't even find a proper video guide.
You didnt show how much area the radars open on the map
COOL! always waited for this from part 1!
I have a desire to play RoadCraft but I heard its kinda bad… Is it playable for someone who never played any Snow/Mudrunner game?
