GTA 6 starts our top 10 upcoming games for 2026 and beyond. From Fable’s village reputation to Wolverine’s combat, we look at the idea that makes each worth watching—and what its official footage still needs to prove.
From Fable and CONTROL Resonant to Phantom Blade Zero and Marvel’s Wolverine, we look at what official footage shows, what the developers promise, and what still needs to be proved.
After the list: a separate Blizzard rumour watch ahead of BlizzCon on September 12–13. Classic Plus and StarCraft 3 are unconfirmed. We separate the official WoW Classic update, reports and speculation; neither rumoured title counts toward the list.
Research date: September 8, 2026. This is an editorial watchlist, not a hands-on review or a promise that every game releases this year.
