Duskfade looks that good you were left speechless
Dude, you have had sound editing problems FOR YEARS. Audacity is a free, easy-to-use audio editor. Waveform is a free super-decked-out-full-featured digital audio workstation. Hitfilm is a free pretty-easy-to-use video editor that edits audio. Davinci Resolve is a free feature-film-ready-full-blown video (with audio) editor.
Total cost for ALL FOUR: $0
Any one of these should be more than sufficient for your needs.

Oh my god, Outward 2!
The first game is just the best, I loved throwing my backpack to the side as enemies engaged on me, it was such a realistic mechanic for open world combat! And the frustration of dying was gone in an instant when you realized you were captured instead, having to search for your stuff and get the hell out of the enemy lines! Losing didn't end the adventure, it just changed it.
Can't wait for the sequel!

DuskFade has a really neat art style
Games like Duskfade straddle that uncomfortable line between taking inspiration from something, and imitating it to a point it's almost a lawsuit waiting to happen lol. That and it looks like they borrow so much from the inspiration they limit their own personal creativity they could have put into it. The characters clothes, sound effects, enemies, and the drops from defeated enemies is a not so subtle rip-off.
I went to wishlist duskfade right before its lack of steam store page was mentioned.
You made my day with Outward 2, I did not know about it. I loved the feeling of preparing for an expedition when playing the first one. Thank you Clemmy!

Akatori – Has solid movement and clarity of frames. Some clear borders might help but maybe it's a style thing otherwise the art is nice. One to watch though it sounds like it may have a bit more of a journey in development still to go.
Amedama – Looks like a hidden gem with the solid combat (side-scroll) plus soul-shifting opening up potentially loads of rewarding options of different options and combat styles. The trailer does a solid job show-casing a range of diverse characters to interact or possess too. Definitely one of the most "captivating" indie games so far this year!
