Square Enix made a surprise visit during Xbox’s January 2024 Developer Direct. Visions of Mana is said to be an encapsulation of the series, an honor to its history, and the first time it’ll ever appear on Xbox. The direct showed off the game’s adorable creatures, as well as gameplay, including combat and exploring the world. Visions of Mana is expected to release Summer 2024.

Not super excited for them saying the magic system is elemental themed "items". Hopefully i just misunderstood that bit, because if not, thats not great news. Final Fantasy 15 and 16 both dropped the ball in their "magic" systems, so I would really like for them to not drop it in Mana too.
I mean, I wish fantasy based rpgs would just start depicting magic as actual MAGIC again, you know? I want to cast spells and feel like an actual mage, not just a dumb warrior who swings fire weapons and throws element-coded grenades at things.

Guys you know what i've seen? 1:28 Crystal Desert; 1:44 Molebear Moors; 3:16 Golden Road; The Forest with the blue trees are somekind new but… looks someway like a place in Lampbloom Forest? Or maybe in the woods nearby Mintas? Cause of this colorfull trees! Well. Anout the Desert we don't need to talk about where this could be. Hum! But the Bossfight against this plantything (This is a mutated variation of Grapplavine) is in Lampbloom Forest. You can see this shiny Flowers behind! 5:50. 🙂

When I first saw this at the VGA's, I instantly decided to get this. I enjoyed playing Trials of Mana and I know I'll enjoy this game as well.
No one is going to play this on Xbox. It's not a fps online shooter game. Good thing it's on ps5

People are saying this is the art direction and graphics Pokémon games should have now and I completely agree. First you’ll need a console of 60 FPS lol. Second the colors and charm would really work for Pokémon. Hopefully whatever GameFreak has planned this year for Pokémon, is high quality not more fan milking. Otherwise I’ll just play Palworld to be honest

Multiplayer is confirmed at least according to a median news article. Aside from meh environment textures, this looks like the new mana game I have been waiting a lifetime for. I am already getting tingles already 🙂
