Clara? Printed on a brick? Calling a phone number in a telephone booth, hearing a cryptic message and receiving a mysterious text? Figuring out a puzzle on an old MS-DOS style app to go deeper into the experience? Handmade protest signs? Mysterious mega-conglomerate company with a shell logo? I feel like someone on the team might've been inspired by The Jejune Institute art-"ARG" and the TV series "Dispatches from Elsewhere" that was based on it. I'm totally into it, though. I'm sure the newest installment in the Silent Hill franchise will be spooky and have surprises.

Any ideas about the story? In second trailer for a second there is a scene with patient covered that is connected to aparature. The description on the left says something like "chest trauma" and "pulmonary edema" which means chest hit can for eg. brake a rib that can cut into lungs causing excess fluid buildup (blood) (suction/drainage pipes connected to chest). My guess is this is main character. Im not a doctor so I dont know for sure. In beggining of gameplay Simon comes out of the water at least two times.. His lungs have too much fluid/blood? Is he drowning from the inside? That's the red color that the city otherworld is DROWNING in (lots of pipes also in otherworld, representing drainage)? Woman voice says that he needs to come back to her. Is he in coma because of his condition?
Ever since I saw the sky tentacles in the latest trailer, I was reminded of the Cloverfield franchise. And those movies had some very deep rabbit holes to investigate online. Now I'm wondering if the developers of Townfall took inspiration from that.
