I just beat the game today and I had a blast. Happy I can think for myself lol
im sorry but sometimes this dude is just wrong 🤦♂️ like with Days Gone, that game is an insanely fun 10/10, so was Wolverine! Brutal, fast paced, amazing acting, versatil, rewarding, best money i ever spent! Stop listening to snooty spoiled critics n go have some bloody crazy Wolverinefun! 🤘🥳🤘 its just the price of a weekend pizza order!

I'm at 65% of the story and it lives up to what I expected – solid story, fun gameplay with lots of blood. I don’t think the game deserves all the hate it is getting. Maybe combats could have been slightly smoother. But I paid the full price and having a good time. I think the price tag and AAA budget is the reason some gamers aren’t satisfied.
I feel like if Uncharted 4 came out today it’d get some heat too.

The story of a tragic loner made you sad wow seems like the story did its job and you just werent much of the target audience. They hit the nail on the head with who logan is and I thought the way jean was done made way more sense in here than it ever did on screen with cyclops. I watched this review bought the game anyways as a fan and completely disagree with the reviewer. I dont know if you were born in the 90s but you sound like gen z using even the smallest complaints as click bait for your video and unfortunately your audience cant see it. The scent trails are only guess what .. WHERE THE SCENT IS. They do not follow you if you go off track its not a permanent scent line unless you are literally on the scent. Its a visual representation of his minor abilities. If the collectibles other than the ones that are obvious werent that hard to find you wouldnt have had to replay missions to get them to unlock the final skin trust me I know you had to do this. The repetition is my only complaint and truly its 90% complete it probably just needed 1 more line of combos and it would be seemless
Finished the game yesterday. Really enjoyed it. $70 enjoyed? Not really. But I really liked the take on the characters, the locations, the story and the combat.
look I absolutely love the Spiderman games but we should’ve known with the lack of innovation in 2 that Wolverine would be a let down. The combat barely changed from 1&2, with even less stuff to do. It took me longer to Plat Spiderman than it did Spiderman 2. My gripe with the Spiderman games is it’s mainly a collect a thon, which is fun don’t get me wrong, I just wish there was a little more variety in the missions. It was “destroy these bases, find the backpacks, and stop crimes “ which is all things Spiderman would do in the comics, so I guess that’s fair. I just wish there was more variation in the mission types tbh
THIS IS THE BEST WOLVERINE GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED!!
Pros:
1. The gameplay is like God of War. No strategy, just hack and slash
2. The camera movement is obviously taken from God of War as well
3. The storyline is good.
4. It is also easy to play for us who are professionals and have a family. I don't have time for combat games like Sekiro
Cons:
1. You're not wearing the Wolverine outfit most of the game. They have Logan as everyday clothing most of the time. I want to look like a superhero when I play a superhero game!!
It isn't worth 70 bucks. Too short, repetitive combat, overly long cut scenes. It was mostly fun to play, but it's not going to be as replayable as Spider-Man.
Don't know about anyone else… I would have liked to see this be a more contained story. Wolverine trying to live peacefully out in Canada somewhere, Stryker finds him or attempts to hunt him down, takes over a small town etc.. Days Gone but with Wolverine?
Overall, I had some moments of fun. But for the time and money spent… Na. It's lacking. The story didn't hook me at all.
The combat gives you moments of that power fantasy but I actually find it quite frustrating to play. It doesn't feel balanced. This would have been helped with a Counter system like the Arkham games, not a parry system.
Im not a hardcore gamer. Im very casual these days as I work a lot. I love linear games. I love good storytelling.

Wolverine honestly feels like it was rushed. They announced it far too early.

Very meh game.
Been playing the fuck out of it over this weekend. Im like 12 hours in. I have to say this has been one of the few times ive disagreed with you. Im sure they updated the game quickly before launch after the early criticism but the game has been fun as fuck. The story isnt anything super complex but its definitely very enjoyable and easy to get into. And I like Jean and Logans chemistry on screen. Reminds me of when I first met my partner in weird way. And while I agree this portrayal of the character isnt the comic, bordering on comical, gruff and tough wolvie we are used to. I genuinely enjoy this portrayal. Comes off more like a broken man dealing with PTSD trying to find his place in the world. Which is likely what the character would actually be like if he were real given his past and story. The hand holding must have been updated because it simply wasnt there nearly as much to be the problem you mentioned it to be. This played a lot like an uncharted game with the violence turned up to 11. Beautiful graphics on a globe trotting adventure with a wide range of well acted cast members with larger than life set pieces. Not all story choices are hits. Some of sabertooths dialog can come off weird. Like the "thats my wolverine" line. That I agree was strange. But the rest I felt they did a good job given the context that hes a psychopath with the emotional intelligence of a toddler and the temper of a rabid Rottweiler. This is a genuinely good game. Its not a story and emotional masterpiece of the same realm as something like the last of us. But its fun. Like really fun. And thats all I wanted out of this game. I really dont get all the hate. Its a solid 7.5 to 8/10 for me.
